    1) Walked dog 3.87 mi (wanted energy for raking leaves) happy dog & happy me

    4) Another ta-da? besides another dead mouse in garage & reset trap, I mean :) computer tasks

    @cschmitz110515 Lovely pictures!
    JFT: Saturday 11-13
Calories: Green, less calories in first half of day :frowning: quite red but see where I can cut it next time. I did notice a lesson from my paper chart that exercising before I eat (during the week) has more impact than after I eat, regardless of same caloric intake.
Exercise: none as rest day 🕊
DH: Offer music and encouraging words, read together 🕊
Hermit: pray, send letter to R 🕊
    Crafts: sewing, enjoy audiobook 🪡

    JFT: Sunday 11-14
Windy day: make sure all batteries and such topped off
    Exercise more than 45 minutes 8-) 😎
Exercise before any eating 8-) 😎
    Calories: in the green
DH: work with DH to make moving plans
Hermit: do some crafts, it's OKAY to take a fun break in the midst of stress
breathe, pray, it will be okay somehow

Lovely photos @cschmitz110515 . Snow is lovely to look at but I hate going out in it nowadays.
    JFT Sunday 14th

    Sensible meals yes
    Send email no
Walk yes, weather was pleasantly mild so took a walk into the village, along the pier then bought 2 Christmas presents

Didn't even manage 3 out of 3! I'm putting off the email as it's work related and needs a wee bit of research before a carefully worded email. Too tired to think about it last night.

    JFT Monday 15th Nov

    Sensible meals
    Send email
    Email friend
    Phone care home
    Catch up on housework

My brain is mushy, I can't think what I want on my list today. I feel it's a bit of a cop-out saying "sensible meals" instead of logging properly. But it does keep me on track to a certain extent, not too high calorie and sensible portions.
Weighed this morning and I'm 3lbs down in a week. Sure it's not all fat but let's see if I can keep the trend going.

    @cschmitz110515 them photos are lovely!!
Our news keeps going on about snow that's gonna hit the UK. Making a big deal about it (as usual) but it's never as bad as they make out it's gonna be.
And then I think about you lot and the amount of snow you get when it's like huge walls outside your house when it's all been shovelled and snowploughed off the roads. Our amount of snow is laughable in comparison!

    JFT Sunday
    - Rest

All I did yesterday was eat and sleep. No really, its 8:00 today and I've already beaten the number of steps I took all day yesterday. I took a whopping 746 steps yesterday. I didn't even believe it was possible to take less than 1000 in a day. Migraine meds really do a number on me, which is why I rarely take them if at all possible. On a funny note, I'm guessing I have a pretty good idea of what my BMR is, somewhere around 1600 calories (1704 - 100 for being awake). BMR calculators put me at 1545, seems about right, lol. Feeling much better today thankfully, just a twinge of a headache remaining.

Not a lot planned for today, but I do plan on being more active than yesterday perhaps even getting some actual exercise in.

    JFT Monday
    - Weigh
    - Shower :(
    - work by 7:30
    - Morning meetings
    - Check in with MFP
    - Coordinate some GLU Projects
    - Log Food
    - Exercise
    - No Alcohol
    - Bed by 11:30

    Happy Monday, y'all!

@cschmitz110515 - What lovely photos! Thank you for sharing them. The first snow always makes me feel like a child again. What kind of tree is that? Those bright red berries are really striking. I also love the whimsy of your garden of feeders!

@MrsHermit - Thank you! It was such a serene autumn scene that a photo just couldn't capture it. I hope your moving plans go smoothly.

@TerriRichardson112 - Good choice to plant bulbs! What varieties did you plant? I love Spring flowers, but with all the neighborhood critters, my options are limited. Sadly, tulips are "deer candy." Still, I hope to get a few more daffodils and maybe some squill in before we get a hard freeze.

@more_freggies76 - Wow! Look at all those green checks! Inspiring!

@pridesabtch - Hope you enjoyed the show!

Interesting weekend. Temps in the 60's Saturday morning were perfect for a bike ride, but the storm that blew in after lunch threw my outdoor furniture around the yard and dropped the temps into the 40's. No major damage here, but power was in and out for a couple of hours. I wound up spending most of the afternoon and evening huddled under a blanket on the sofa.

    Saturday, 11/13/2021
    Log - :)
Stay green on calories and sodium - :)
    Water - :)
Bike ride with my husband - :)
2 chores - :/ - Only if emptying the DW and cooking dinner count :p
Finalize plans for Thanksgiving weekend - Not yet :# Kids and FIL are still sorting out their plans, and we're on the wait list for the kennel. Looks like we'll be splitting the weekend between here and MD/VA.

Sunday, 11/14/2021 - Never got around to posting goals, but I did get a few chores done.
    Log - :)
Stay green on calories and sodium - Nope and nope :(
    Water - :)
Walk - another nope. Grandkids came over early and hung out with Papi while my daughter and I went to a local country market for produce and a pie. Forgot the cranberries - arrgh! - so I'll be going back this week.

Another busy week. Guess I'd better set some goals for today.

    JFT Monday, 11/15/2021

I know Bex lol. I was obsessed with the winter weather as my job involved driving and walking outside. But now I'm on this thread I feel I couldn't possibly complain about it, the USA and Canada has it so much worse!
I think because we only get heavy snow occasionally a lot of people don't know how to drive in it properly so the roads soon become blocked. Also (if I read it correctly) in the US you're expected to clear the walkways by your house? Hardly anyone does that in the UK, so it becomes dangerous when it freezes over.
I wish I had a pound for every time someone told me to "watch the path, it's slippy" and I had to bite my tongue to stop from saying "why didn't you clear it then?" I'm obsessed with clearing my paths, out there first thing in the morning.

Sharing more photos, this time from dog walk yesterday. First snow is truly beautiful, even if early in the season, and will probably melt this week. @beachwalker99 The tree is a crab apple variety but I don't recall the name. Got it free from the city when they were distributing trees for planting. The birds, squirrels & chipmunks love it.

Trees undecided between autumn and winter.

I am still having trouble finding my previous posts .. so will just start fresh today. I did great yesterday .. until I found peppermint icecream in the grocery store! OMG.. my favorite. But as a result, I think I gobbled down half of the box yesterday.
Didn't get to the gym this morning because of too much junk stuff yesterday.
So fresh start again today. But todays temps are suppose to be in the 60s, and tomorrow in the 70s! So plan is to put up outside christmas decorations before it turns cold again.

@cschmitz .. I LOVE the winter pictures! Absolutely beautiful!!! While I love the look of snow, I hope it holds off a little for us!

    JFT, Monday, 11/15
    1. log all my food
    2. mindful eating
    3. concentrate on water to flush out sugar
    4. sew on daughters quilt

@beachwalker99 Thank you. Moving is stressful and although we knew this was coming, it appeared that they were going to wait until February to require things but then they suddenly gave two weeks' notice (classy...). Too dangerous to travel now so we have to sit and pay rent until we can safely travel. At least it will give me more time to downsize to what we can take with us.

Your pictures are really nice and remind me of when my husband and I would go hiking. I truly enjoyed the walks in the forest.

@sdl11012021 Welcome! I recently joined MFP myself! This is a nice group.

@mytime6630 Oh my gosh I love peppermint icecream! I can't have it in the freezer because I'll eat it! I have to stick to the "homemade" versions which are limited because we don't always have milk. I'm glad you enjoyed it though. : )

    JFT: Sunday 11-14
Windy day: make sure all batteries and such topped off
    Exercise more than 45 minutes 8-) 😎
Exercise before any eating 8-) 😎
    Calories: in the green
DH: work with DH to make moving plans
Hermit: do some crafts, it's OKAY to take a fun break in the midst of stress
breathe, pray, it will be okay somehow

    JFT: This week
Get through wind storm (happening now) (no laundry, keep airpot full of hot tea until power goes out, batteries topped off, etc.)
    Exercise before eating
Work on lowering total caloric intake to around 1500 regardless of exercise
Work on downsizing for move, talk frequently with DH about moving in spring
    Crafts for stress relief

Prayers appreciated, the wind is really howling. DH says they don't get twisters in the PNW but....
