Back in the 90's, I changed my relationship with alcohol with a few Smart Recovery and Rational Recovery meetings. I can now drink moderately, which for me is really barely at all - I think I've had 2.5 drinks this year.
When I drink, I eat more, and my sleep is disrupted, so the next day I eat more as well. Just a terrible combo for me when I'm trying to lose weight.
