Well, there's still a few days left in April but my last official weigh-in is higher than where I started. That's annoying. March was great but too fast. April was an experiment gone poorly? I'm curious to see where my next weekly weigh-in falls, if we're going to keep doing this up/down trend but inching downward overall. I expected this to happen when I was 20 pounds away from my main goal, but not 55!
My plan for May: really work on hitting my step goal everyday, spending a lot of time outdoors with my kiddos, and stick to a bodyweight routine. The last might not do much for weight loss but I think it will be good for me. Continue logging, and, for now at least, avoid treats that are hard to measure exactly.2 -

Yay!! Hopefully I’m over this little month long ping pong plateau I was stuck on (136-135). My motivation is still high, I am in this for the end goal (well, and the maintenance too...).
I am setting my goal as I usually would (1lb per week). I’ll reevaluate next month/challenge if necessary if the trend continues. However, seeing that getting back into the 120’s is a possibility within a month is pretttyyyyy exciting 🤞🏼🤞🏼.3 -

March 01: 206.6 Off to a good start! It’s not spring here (time without snow) until May where I am at in Northern Michigan. So no walking or outside activity until May as I am a fall risk. I’ll do my best to keep moving inside as best I can. Good luck everyone!
March 08: 208.2 Wrong direction. Pizza last night during a family meeting showing up.
March 15: 207.2 Daughter and 3 yr old grandson moved in. I’m not sure for how long. Family troubles. And I thought planning the diet was tough with remodeling team here every day! Wow, this will be challenging!
March 22: 207.4 Up & Down & topsy turvy all week. Focus…Focus…Focus…
March 29: 207.0 Better than last week and right back at the challenge starting weight. Now, to focus on actual progress and not yo-yo’s.
March 31: 208.2 A bit of an unfair way to end the month. It’s up today due to no TMI but it is what it is.

April 05 206.6 Much better. I am suspecting that I am becoming lactose intolerant. My stomach really gets hard and bloats up after milk, cheese etc. I am weaning off for a test. Happy for this drop on the scale.
April 12: 207.4 An overnight setback. I made good choices yesterday and got in plenty of steps and exercise through some tough yardwork but my calories and carbs were over due to eating 3 meals instead of my normal 2. Hopefully this will adjust and I will get my 206 back soon!
April 19: 206.0 An overnight drop helped. Travel today with dinner out so the rest of the week will be filled with movement to offset!
April 26: 204.0 A ton of yard work after multiple trees were cut down has really burned the calories. Starving today but will try to keep the meals light.

So although my weight hasn't altered, I can't say I haven't experienced wins .. I was feeling hopeless and down earlier but honestly I am happy with my new eating style.. so much more mindful. I just hope it will push me on the right direction if I have a little patience
