Just started my new program today. 😁

You do your own programming, Chris?

Yes sir I do. Feel free to critique.
    Have you tried Jazzercise?

    Nope, not yet 🤷‍♂️

You say "not yet" like it's an actual possibility.

I will give you a stipend just to see you in a jazzercise outfit.

    Not happening

itchmyTwitch we'll have to petition Rolling Stone to make your dream become reality
    instead
I feel like Rolling Stone would be into it. I think the actor is probably a little more… modest?

Maybe Plan B can be us on the cover instead
    Hot

No critique here. The proof is in the pudding (i.e. Dad Bod Thread). I was just curious. 🧐

Thank you Jeff, the meal discipline is the toughest for me.

I wouldn’t mind hearing a little about that. I’m not joking. In the interest of transparency I am currently in a calorie deficit and trying to hit about 150 g of protein and 30 g of fiber every day and I’m finding it a little bit difficult

What numbers would give you less to no difficulty? I would try that for a while. There is no magic about 150 g of p or 30 g of fiber. Fiber is good but a bit overrated.

My cancer drive today. It was his last radiation treatment for his brain tumor. He seemed pretty happy.

I’ve had better results this year for holding onto size while leaning than I have in a long time. I had read or heard somewhere to not drop your calories lower that 10x your minimum desired body weight. That was 190 for me. I am currently around 192 and started around 215. I did eventually hit 1900 calories but it took many months to get there. I tried to stay at a negative 500 Calories per day based on my caloric needs at that time. I use caloriecalculator.net to determine this. As my calories dropped to around 2100 cals/day I allowed myself one free meal per week. I could eat whatever and how much ever I wanted as long as it was in one sitting. (I enjoyed that). A couple times I’d hit sticking points along the way but I’d keep to the plan. I hit my goal around 193 as far as appearance. So I started adding calories back in very slowly. I’m currently back up to 2300 cals per day and maintaining the bf%. This felt like an incoherent ramble. I also refuse to proof read so….

Oh, I also kept my protein 200lbs which was based on 1 gram of protein for my each pound of my goal weight. My fats were around 65 which was my body weight multiplied by .35. The rest of the calories were filled with carbs and I tried to stick with brown rice, broccoli, green beans, salad and oatmeal.

Hope this makes some kind of sense.

Yes, it does make sense. It’s helpful to hear about your personal experience as well. Thank you for taking the time to type that all out. I appreciate it

My dogs this AM. I have 2 chocolate lab mixes (mutts really) that are about 3 years old. My alarm went off this AM, and they know I always hit snooze once. I could feel their tails wagging and hitting the bed after the first alarm went off but otherwise they didn't move. Then, when the second went off, I turned my alarm off and stretched, which the dogs have learned is the sign I'm officially awake. They bounded up the bed into my arms asking for pets (they rub a paw over their ear to sign they want scratches) and giving me kisses by licking my arm and each doing these adorable little leans in to my side to get as close to me as they can and rubbing their heads on me.

They do this every morning and I love our morning cuddles. They don't do this with anyone else in the house, not even my husband. It's just me and the 2 dogs for the first 5 to 10min each morning and it always gives me a smile first thing in the morning. Not a bad way to start the day at all.
