People at the gym who complain about the "New Year resolutioners" filling the gym to capacity and making it hard to get the equipment they usually monopolize. We should be praising the new peeps, welcoming to our family, encouraging them to stay. We are here to better ourselves, they are here to better themselves. Don't like how crowded it is? Hit the gym at 5am like I do, there's always room!

It's also that crowd that funds the slower 11.5 months of the year off this 2 week rush. Make sure you take the time to thank them in October when you don't have to wait for the squat rack.

There's no produce in this house. 😑
(Unless you count chocolate covered raisins.) Even though it's raining and I'd rather stay inside, I need to run to the grocery store

Does bird seed count? (Also, great idea but it's January in the Midwest. I don't want to wait until spring to sprout a salad) 😉

Have you ever read up on crows? Whatever you do, do not get on their bad side unless you want your grandchildren to suffer.

It’s OK. I got the seagulls on my side

I've heard they can recognize you and carry grudges. I wonder if that played into the Crow movie choice of avatar...

Same. We probably did the same limited google search but I’m not gonna chance it. I think it said they could tell future generations about you or something like that. Lol.

But why would you do something to provoke their ire? Be nice & they bring you little pieces of trash to show their appreciation

Well I was trying to save some baby bunnies potentially. Idk. I figured I was going to let nature run it’s course after I read. I didn’t see anything actually happen. I just knew the bunnies hung out on the edge of my yard. Then I saw the crows. The crows make an extremely annoying sound early in the mornings. I scared them away a few times. Then I read up on the crows. Then I said, I can’t save all the baby bunnies in the world.

Nature can be so heartbreaking 💔

I just got taken out by a kid on a bicycle. I am not at the sense of humor stage of this yet like I was 2 seconds after a woman jogging with a stroller almost took me out. Anything other than a car has never been on my bingo card.

The parents and kid came up behind me while I was out walking and the kid knocked me on my *kitten*.

The father tried to help me up but, god, I was pissed. He said it was an accident but I said he REALLY needed to get him and his *kitten* kid away from me. I don't normally swear in from of kids....

I blame all of them. None of them were paying enough attention to see the kid come up too fast. No one told the kid to slow down or go around.

Like I needed more places to bleed on me (I bleed really easily) or another bruise which has already started forming.

Yikes what a stupid family you encountered. Hope you're feeling ok and not too hurt by this incident

I need to color my hair, I’ve needed to for a couple weeks.
Apparently I’ve developed a “thing” about it.
It’s no big deal, only takes 45min but I can hardly make myself do it.
I don’t get it but I have lots of hangups.

I haven't had my hair cut in 3 years at least because the idea of sitting in a hair dressers chair for at least 45 minutes makes me twitch....I haven't had colour done in years in forever because it takes sooooo long. I shall embrace the grey

I'll live! :) Mostly just the bruise and some streaming blood on my forearm/elbow. And my fury for the rest of the walk fueling longer, harder strides I don't normally take.
