I'm in! Thank you, @RubyRed427 !
71 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion... ...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.

Thanks Ruby Red!
I'm Michelle, 50, 5'5. Currently 159, started 2021 at 185, looking to lose 5 pounds in this current challenge.5 -
I'm in. Losing 15 pounds in 3 months would take me to my lowest weight since 2009 (and only a momentary blip back then).7
-
I'm in!!! I went the other direction our last challenge!!! Cheers to a new challenge and new friends!!!5
-
Thank you, @RubyRed427,
My normal weigh-in day has always been Fridays, but I was weighing in on Sundays for the last challenge. Why? Because August 1st and October 31st were both Sundays, and I love it when things work out like that.
I thought this time I'd go back to Fridays, then I saw that November 1st and January 31st are both Mondays! So, how can I resist? (I'll see you all on Monday) 😀

Monday sounds like a good work in day to me. I had to bail from the last challenge. Hoping I can stick with this one.6

Hi there. On MFP for two weeks a refuge from WW. Where is the description of the challenge. 15 pounds is whatI need to lose.3
-
I'm going to join in if that's OK? Thanks @RubyRed427 I'm not sure 15lbs is realistic for me though but I'll give it a go! I'll weigh in on Mondays and track my trend weight too. My first mini goal is to get to 142.8 which puts me at a healthy bmi

@sestambler7531, here's a full description from the last round of this challenge...

I need to lose 15lbs! Starting today....4
-
MFP SW (Mar 2021) - 171.8
November SW - 134.6
October GW - 130
GW - 125 (then I will re-evaluate)
March loss: -7.4
April loss: -7.2
May loss: -5.6
June loss: -4.2
July loss: -3.2
August: -3.0
September: -4.0
October: -3.0
Total loss to date: -37.2
I didn't meet my goal last challenge , find it harder to lose now that I'm getting down closer to my goal. I have less than 10lbs now until I reach my goal I set out in March of 125lbs. But once I get there I'll know if it's enough or if I need to continue to lose a couple more.
Let's do this.....we can do this!4 -

Someone just reminded me of this:
Logging your food honestly is the best way to keep yourself accountable. It's harder to log when you've overeaten, because it reminds you that you're not doing as you'd planned, but that's precisely why those are the days that are most important to log. We all have off days, just try to keep them to a minimum. This Grook of Piet Hein's (I love his Grooks) seems appropriate here:The Road To Wisdom
The road to wisdom? - Well, it's plain
and simple to express:
Err and err and err again
but less and less and less.

Hello all! I am going to give this a try. I have been actively watching my CICO for almost 2 years. In the spring I started eating gluten free-ish (about 95%) to help alleviate symptoms from hasimoto's. I started Dec 1, 2019 at 231.0 lbs. I am a 38 year old mom of two who "loves" to run half marathons.
11/1: 203.4 lbs - 20 days out from my half marathon and no motivation to train.10 -
I'm in! How does this work, just posting here in the thread?
37 year old mom of 2 very energetic boys. I'm a runner, hiker, cyclist - give me all the cardio! I'm trying to work on adding some strength into my routine as well as tracking my food. Exercise is no problem for me, but watching my intake is hard. I'm considering giving up alcohol for the month of November too to help me reach my goals.

Hello! I’m 34F, 5’4 and started using MFP again at the end of May and feel like I am in it for the long haul this time, learning how to cook healthy foods and creating healthy habits.
May 28th 2021 Weight 240lbs (also my highest weight)
Ultimate goal weight 170lbs (I’ll reassess once there but that feels more like a doable goal right now)
Challenge starting weight- 204lbs
Challenge end goal- 190lbs (Firmly into onederland)
Sunday is my weigh in day
11/01 204.0 up a bit from yesterday but had double my normal sodium intake yesterday. It makes for an even number to start out with

Okay! Thanks for the additional accountability. Will weigh tomorrow 11-02. Already untrustworthy!7

Hey everyone!! I have not been very successful in the first 2 challenges so I'm thinking third times a charm!!! I joined WW in April 2020 and lost 15lbs...since leaving the program I've gained a couple of pounds but haven't been totally committed to the process of losing weight and making smarter choices hence the weight gain! I have committed to weighing in weekly and actually sharing my progress to hold me accountable! My weigh-in day will be Mondays!!
Here we go!!!
53 years old (it's such a challenge at this age lol)
HW 176.2 December 2019
SW 162.7
GW 147
UGW 139
Looking forward to the challenge and reading everyone's comments!!! Good luck!!7 -

You can set your own goal. If 15 lbs. doesn't work, set another goal.4 -
I’m totally in.. need a challenge to get through the holiday season.
11/1 155.6
Goal 1/31 140.00
Goals workout at least 4x per week ( currently do ) and continue 1200 cal day and don’t eat a k workout calories. This is how my body loses weight.5 -
I also would like like minded dieters to be friends and SHARE your diary4
-
Count me in for another round! My WI day is Tuesday so I'll be back with my start weight then. Looking forward to spending the holidays with y'all8
-
I'll be back tomorrow with my final weigh in from the last challenge (31 lbs of 22 goal, hope it will go to 32!)/new start weight for this challenge! See you all then! :-)
Well I didnt get to the 180 or below. Had an uptick to 181.8 lbs but I was true to my calories, carbs, water and exercise so just a normal weight fluctuation. So I lost 30.2 lbs during the 3 month challenge. Which is excellent!
So starting 11/1 at 181.8 lbs with goal of 15 lbs for the 3 months. This 10 lb average / month that has been going on has got to slow down soon, I'm thinking.
Welcome back to past challengers and to the new ones!7
