Hello all! I am going to give this a try. I have been actively watching my CICO for almost 2 years. In the spring I started eating gluten free-ish (about 95%) to help alleviate symptoms from hasimoto's. I started Dec 1, 2019 at 231.0 lbs. I am a 38 year old mom of two who "loves" to run half marathons.
11/1: 203.4 lbs - 20 days out from my half marathon and no motivation to train.10 -
I'm in! How does this work, just posting here in the thread?
37 year old mom of 2 very energetic boys. I'm a runner, hiker, cyclist - give me all the cardio! I'm trying to work on adding some strength into my routine as well as tracking my food. Exercise is no problem for me, but watching my intake is hard. I'm considering giving up alcohol for the month of November too to help me reach my goals.
11/1 158lbs10 -
Hello! I’m 34F, 5’4 and started using MFP again at the end of May and feel like I am in it for the long haul this time, learning how to cook healthy foods and creating healthy habits.
May 28th 2021 Weight 240lbs (also my highest weight)
Ultimate goal weight 170lbs (I’ll reassess once there but that feels more like a doable goal right now)
Challenge starting weight- 204lbs
Challenge end goal- 190lbs (Firmly into onederland)
Sunday is my weigh in day
11/01 204.0 up a bit from yesterday but had double my normal sodium intake yesterday. It makes for an even number to start out with

Hey everyone!! I have not been very successful in the first 2 challenges so I'm thinking third times a charm!!! I joined WW in April 2020 and lost 15lbs...since leaving the program I've gained a couple of pounds but haven't been totally committed to the process of losing weight and making smarter choices hence the weight gain! I have committed to weighing in weekly and actually sharing my progress to hold me accountable! My weigh-in day will be Mondays!!
Here we go!!!
53 years old (it's such a challenge at this age lol)
HW 176.2 December 2019
SW 162.7
GW 147
UGW 139
Looking forward to the challenge and reading everyone's comments!!! Good luck!!7 -

You can set your own goal. If 15 lbs. doesn't work, set another goal.4 -
I’m totally in.. need a challenge to get through the holiday season.
11/1 155.6
Goal 1/31 140.00
Goals workout at least 4x per week ( currently do ) and continue 1200 cal day and don’t eat a k workout calories. This is how my body loses weight.5 -
I also would like like minded dieters to be friends and SHARE your diary4

Count me in for another round! My WI day is Tuesday so I'll be back with my start weight then. Looking forward to spending the holidays with y'all8

I'll be back tomorrow with my final weigh in from the last challenge (31 lbs of 22 goal, hope it will go to 32!)/new start weight for this challenge! See you all then! :-)
Well I didnt get to the 180 or below. Had an uptick to 181.8 lbs but I was true to my calories, carbs, water and exercise so just a normal weight fluctuation. So I lost 30.2 lbs during the 3 month challenge. Which is excellent!
So starting 11/1 at 181.8 lbs with goal of 15 lbs for the 3 months. This 10 lb average / month that has been going on has got to slow down soon, I'm thinking.
Welcome back to past challengers and to the new ones!7 -
I'm in! Thank you, @RubyRed427 !
71 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion... ...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.

Female, 54years young, 5feet 5inches.
I hit my highest weight in January 2021 at 162lbs.
This journey on MFP - with this group - has helped me to start caring about myself & my health again.
Logging food consistently…. though tedious…has been key, and the other component has been getting out for walks at least every other day 30-60 minutes. This part I try to look at as a gift to myself, not a chore!
Anyway I joined MFP Jan 11/21 at 162lb. So happy I came upon this group……Great people and lots of intelligent exchange and great support😊
Overall I have lost about 8/9lbs and start this new Challenge at 154ish’ lbs😉
MY GOALS this time around:
SW 154lbs Oct 31/21
#1 GW 150lbs Nov 30/21
#2 GW 146lbs Dec 31/21
#3 GW 142lbs Jan 31/
I’d like to incorporate strength training as well and get my muscles back!
Plus** Not let stress & worry about others derail my commitment to my own health**
Weigh Ins will be Mondays.
