New to MFP with age ole hormone issues LOL

Trying something new! Been on a few other apps before this seems to be more in-depth tracking-wise! I needed it so I can be more calculating with specifics and not just caloric intake. My hormones are giving me a run for my 50 year old money and my previous weight loss methods seem to be failing! Wish me luck folks!! 😬 Not nervous at all LOL 😂

    Pretty much, I think the methods that work for younger folks also work for us as we get older. The difference is more about lifestyle habits, how much muscle mass we have, and so forth. We may have a bit lower total calorie goal to achieve X weight loss, compared to a 20-year-old, but the strategies and techniques really are quite similar.

    What methods have you used in the past, that you feel are letting you down now? What are you considering trying?

    I'm betting someone(s) here can help. There are folks of all ages, and at different points on the path: Starting on (re-)loss, midway through major loss and still working at it, close to or at goal trying to navigate maintenance, and even some relatively long term maintainers (like me) hanging around to stay at a healthy weight after losing several to many years back.

    What questions do you have? What obstacles are you worried about? How can folks here help?
