Just need tips just starting out and are 205 pds but for my age should be way way less I’m pretty strong can bench 180 squat 290 but need tips on losing weight!!! Also just started and it’s saying I should eat 2100 calories, feels a bit much for someone like me trying to lose weight

    What are your stats? (age/height/weight/activity level? male? female?)
    2100 may or may not be too much, but for a youngish, active male... probably not.

    as far as losing weight goes, it really is simple.... eat less, move more. low carb, IF, keto... some use those as methods to reduce calories, and thats fine, but there is nothing magical about them, and for long term success can be hit or miss (afterall, you have to think about whether or not it is something you can do FOREVER to MAINTAIN that weight loss). I've lost a stunning amount of weight, and eat the same foods I always have, just in much different AMOUNTS ;)

    2100 calories to lose weight for a male isn't much. That will result in about 1 Lb per week for a good deal of men even if they aren't particularly active. With regular exercise I lose about 1 Lb per week on 2300-2500 calories per day.
