Hi everyone.

We had a lot of people join the previous challenge. I had a little break and then Christmas came along. I've gained 10lbs and started again on boxing day because I didn't want to wait till new year. I'm down 3lbs already ☺️

Please feel free to join in in this challenge. I will be weighing in daily sometimes but mostly weekly. Feel free to post as much as you like for accountability and support.

Hi Roz I'll join you again, thank you!
I couldn't find the link to the Sept-Dec challenge to post my last weight so I'll post it here instead.

For most of the last challenge I was doing really well and by mid December I had lost 20lbs and had made it into a healthy weight range, then Christmas happened! I have gained about 7.5lbs in the last couple of weeks from my lowest, a lot of it is probably water weight from Christmas food but definitely not all of it!

Needing to get my focus and accountability back before I backslide any further... here we go!

@39flavours thank you for joining again! really glad to hear from you.
yes I'm sure most of the gain is from Christmas, water weight etc but it'll go in no time. just stay focused and consistent 😄

@MrsHeatherG33 Welcome back. You've done great. Keep up the good work!

Hey everyone! I am new here and came across this group and would love to join if that’s ok! I am 39 and a wife, mother, full time employee and everything in between. I have been battling cancer since 2018 and fingers crossed we are at the tail end of it. I need some encroachment, motivation and accountability!

Hi all, I've used MFP for 10 years fairly consistently and have seen good progress, I lost a little fat and gained a reasonable amount of muscle in my late 40s. I'm 10kg heavier than when I started 10 years ago but a much better shape.
The last few months have seen me slip back a bit with injuries but I'm recovered now and back in the game!
Now fancy pushing it a bit harder for a while, this will be my first ever challenge, 3 months seems possible and is long enough to see progress if I can stick to it.
I'm going to try to maintain 700 calorie daily defecit and weight training 5 days a week.

    Good luck everyone!

    Hi all,

I’m 31 and just had a baby girl in October and it’s time to lose the extra weight that’s hanging on. I need some accountability so hopefully this helps.

@Roz0810 Thanks for the new Challenge.

    145320379.png

My name is Donna. I am 61 years old, 5' 5" tall. I live in the Midwest of USA. I am in remission for breast cancer, have Type 2 Diabetes, an under active thyroid, a touch of high blood pressure, some osteoporosis and am working to get healthier. I know losing weight and exercising more will help all of these issues.

CHALLENGE TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS GOAL: Total Loss of 15 pounds to land at 176.5 (Wow! That sounds like a dream. But…dreams do come true!)
CHALLENGE STARTING WEIGHT (FROM Dec 31, 2021): 191.5
    CHALLENGE ENDING WEIGHT:

Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!
    250’s; 240’s; 230’s; 220's; 210's; 200's; 190's; 180’s; 170's; 160's; 150’s

I TRY TO WEIGH ON THE 1ST AND LAST DAY OF EACH MONTH ALSO. I HAVE MADE THE GOAL OF LOSING A LITTLE MORE IN SEPT AND OCT AND KEEPING IT A LITTLE LESS THROUGH THE NOV AND DEC HOLIDAYS (AND BAKING SEASON.) I THINK THAT 15 POUNDS OVERALL IS A MORE REALISTIC GOAL FOR ME ESPECIALLY SINCE I LIVE IN A VERY SNOWY AND ICY AREA AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES AND EXERCISE ARE DIFFICULT AFTER OCTOBER 1ST. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT I GET AND STAY AT A HEALTHY WEIGHT DUE TO HEALTH REASONS I WILL SHARE ALONG THE WAY. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! I AM ROOTING FOR YOU AND SUPPORTING YOU ALL 100% WE CAN DO THIS!

    Start Weight: (From Dec. 31, 2021): 191.5…..(Trend Weight: 191.7)
Jan 01….. 190.0….. (Trend Weight: 191.5)….. . On December 31, 2020 my weight was at 207.0. I am down 15.4 pounds this year and for that I am grateful. I plan on working even harder in 2022. Happy New Year everyone!

Hi, I'd like to join for the next 3 months. I turned 50 on Oct 31st and seem to have been celebrating it for months then Christmas came and I thought I may as well carry on with the bag habits 🤦.
I lost 57lbs in 2020, got to my goal weight of 140lbs and last year was about maintaining. I struggled towards the end. I've also had some injuries to cope with, torn my right bicep which 4 months later is still painful and I'm also recovering from a horrible chest infection which has taken over the last 2-3 weeks. I have it set in my head that I'll start tomorrow (4th Jan) so will weigh then and then follow your plan dates on weighing. I'm hoping I have no more than 20lbs to lose but it FEELS a heck of a lot more. It's got to go before summer as I cannot continue like this, hating how I look again.
Look forward to supporting you and and vice versa 😁😁

    Happy New Year everyone!
I’d like to join your challenge if that’s ok.
I was doing quite well, then got completely detailed by Christmas/New Year socialising and am back to square one. I am going to be 50 in July and have a couple of beach holidays planned. I have promised myself that I will feel happy and confident in a bikini by then. That means I need to lose 33lbs. I normally weigh in on a Saturday but have started today.

    Happy new year Everyone

I was all the way down to160 6 years ago then life hit. Broke my ankle on the interior left me non weight bearing for 8 weeks and then 4 weeks light. Followed by becoming primary care giver for my dying father. So here I am way up and 6 years older. Lets get 'er done.

    Hi and Happy New Year!

I would like to join in this challenge. I am 62 years old and would like to lose about 20 lbs to reach my goal of 140. My short term goal to hit 150 by my birthday at the end of March (I’m being realistic for myself). I want to be at my goal of 140 by June.
