My name is Donna. I am 61 years old, 5' 5" tall. I live in the Midwest of USA. I am in remission for breast cancer, have Type 2 Diabetes, an under active thyroid, a touch of high blood pressure, some osteoporosis and am working to get healthier. I know losing weight and exercising more will help all of these issues.
CHALLENGE TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS GOAL: Total Loss of 15 pounds to land at 176.5 (Wow! That sounds like a dream. But…dreams do come true!)

Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

I TRY TO WEIGH ON THE 1ST AND LAST DAY OF EACH MONTH ALSO. I HAVE MADE THE GOAL OF LOSING A LITTLE MORE IN SEPT AND OCT AND KEEPING IT A LITTLE LESS THROUGH THE NOV AND DEC HOLIDAYS (AND BAKING SEASON.) I THINK THAT 15 POUNDS OVERALL IS A MORE REALISTIC GOAL FOR ME ESPECIALLY SINCE I LIVE IN A VERY SNOWY AND ICY AREA AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES AND EXERCISE ARE DIFFICULT AFTER OCTOBER 1ST. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT I GET AND STAY AT A HEALTHY WEIGHT DUE TO HEALTH REASONS I WILL SHARE ALONG THE WAY. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! I AM ROOTING FOR YOU AND SUPPORTING YOU ALL 100% WE CAN DO THIS!

Mar 03….. 196.2…..(Trend Weight: 196.5)….. Truly a back & forth week which goes up and down approx 1 ½ pounds per jump. My inconsistencies are showing up on the scale as inconsistent weigh-ins. I shouldn’t be surprised.
Mar 10….. 198.0…..(Trend Weight: 197.1)….. Most meals are good. However, there has been a serious lack of movement and calorie burn. Not hitting step goals and snacks are out of hand at times. The lack of movement is the hardest to fix right now during such extensive renovations and a house full of handymen and workers. Also babysitting my 4 yr old DGS daily but chasing him helps a little!
Mar 17….. 199.8…..(Trend Weight: 198.1)….. A horrible week of gain and lack of movement again. I’m beginning to feel all those uncomfortable things you feel when you are fat. Physical things. I don’t like it. I need to throw this tranny in reverse!
Mar 24….. 198.8…..(Trend Weight: 198.6)….. Actual weight down, trend weight up. Hmph…..But I think they are right. I’ve basically been bouncing up & down and landing on the wrong side mostly. I’m beginning to feel stronger. I think big changes might be coming. Yesterday I made the actual effort to make sure I got in my 10,000 steps. My attitude about drinking my water is getting better again. Now, just to be pre-prepared for the hunger that often can accompany true dieting.
