Thanks @RubyRed427 for setting up this next round. This round will hopefully get me to my goal weight (-10 pounds) and a maintenance buffer of another -5 pounds.8

Im too optimistically in!. I'm within last 20 pounds, and lower healthy weight range for my height, so it will be more challenging. I want to drop 15lbs this first half year, and maintain until next year and see how I feel about those last 5.
I tend to go on roller coaster ride with my water weight, so weekly weigh in 🙂9 -
Thank you, Ruby!

Welcome everyone! I feel motivated and excited to stay on track. For the last week, I've had a smoothie for lunch; that must save me about 500 calories per day. Now, I'm getting used to this routine and don't feel that hungry. I think my stomach is a little flatter. Also, I feel energetic at work after "lunch". Little by little, we can all improve our health.11
-
Thanks for continuing the challenge, Ruby! I lost 7.2 from Dec.15- Jan 31st. I'm not seeing TOO much difference...well my pants might fit a little better. I won't get discouraged. Rome wasn't built in a day!
12/15/21 170
01/01/22 169
01/31/22 162.8
02/01/22 162.8
Goal Weight for 02/28/22: 152.8-155.8 I should give myself a range so I don't feel so bad if I don't lose 10.
Will continue with major (hopefully none) alcohol reduction. I've also added collagen powder to my coffee which does add 45 calories per scoop but my joint pain is GONE and my hair is growing so fast I need to change all my color appointments to every 3 weeks. Plus my skin looks so much better. It's a miracle in a can. It's called Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides. Jennifer Aniston uses it so I figure it must be good.
Happy February to All! Only one more month of winter, woo hoo!7 -
Good Morning!
After reading many of the final results from last round, I am inspired by many of you that met your goals or even just lost a bit!!
Touching base with the individuals in this group has been helpful for me personally, in staying on track and feeling that the weight loss IS possible.
Many Thanks🙏 @RubyRed427 for facilitating!
So great to see "familiar faces" and welcome to new ones......8 -
WINTER ROUND FEB - APR/22 15LB LOSS
Female, 5'5", 54yrs (55 in 2 weeks, Ugh)
Start Weight 162 Jan/21
(Highest weight ever)
Goal Weight 150 reached Nov/21
Ultimate Goal Weight 140....Apr/22
Today's Weight 155.2
So, I actually gained weight after reaching my first goal of 150lb back in Nov/2021. This was because I dropped the ball and stopped putting myself 1st.
This round I'm committing to:
1) tracking food daily once again,
2) exercise of some sort minimum 30min/day
3)Some sort of self care like meditation/yoga everyday.
Will weigh in on Tuesdays.
Have a wonderful week everyone!

Today's plan is a 30 minute cardio on trampoline and 30” walk around my neighborhood
AND the ‘big one NOT TO dive tongue first into DH's M&M bag 😂
It's so hard for me to stay out of the candy cupboard BUT today I WILL ✔️ 🥇
@Plasicage kind wishes with the last of your weight loss And stopping that roller coaster ride
(I’m right there with you)
@RubyRed427 I’m a smoothie fan, it helps me get my '4 daily servings' of veggies
This morning for breakfast it was 1/3 cup oatmeal, 1/3 T coconut oil, & fried egg
Then for my morning snack it's a veggie/fruit smoothie apple, carrots, celery & water
Helpful Hint for me: 👍
I make up 4 cups of Oatmeal then freeze 1/3 cup servings
Most mornings, I enjoy a serving instead of bread.
@lizziebtothec thinking of you as you push forward recovering from COVID 💗
Best wish with your 33 day training schedule

Hi everyone! I'm Denise, live in Oregon and I'm in my early 70s.
Round 3 for me! This round I’m treating myself like a scientific Guinea pig project using this free National Institutes of Health “Body Weight Planner”. Link: https://bit.ly/3gddENO (We’ll see!)
Goal: reach about 126 lbs this round (-10), stay with my plant-based diet, keep using weights, and lower my cholesterol in the process.

Hi. I'm joining this challenge as I need some inspiration, support and help. I will be 60 this year and need to lose this extra weight as I have osteoarthritis in knees and lower back. I want to be able to spend more quality time with my Grandchildren. My final goal is to get to 145lbs.
Here is to a New Start

I've been drifting for the last couple of months, managing to maintain but not really making much progress. I lost 5.4 last time but with lots of ups and downs (6.4 if you count the 1lb I lost from yesterday!). I'm now at a healthy bmi so losing any weight from now on will take a lot of effort so I'm setting a goal of 7lbs which should put me at 10lbs from my ultimate goal weight.
I need to make every day count and up my calorie burn through exercise and activity, no more slow mornings and lazy evenings!
It's a new year and the days are getting longer so time to seize the opportunity. I have my 10 year anniversary at the end of May, possibly planning a 2 week road trip in Canada (I'm in the UK) so I want to be happy and in strong health for that, time to get on it!
Feb 1: 140.4 (trend 140.1) Slightly above my trend weight but I'm happy with that as a starting place
