Haters - a confession

You know what I hate....chocolate. Last night I was munching on some of My Trail Mix (the special stuff left over after the kids pick through it) and accidentally ate an M&M. I almost gagged. The kids clearly need to do a better job picking them out or they will be grounded.

Asparagus is okay. Better than eggplant.

Eggplant is awesome! Don't understand all the hate for it.

Oh, and I love cottage cheese and avocado.

Cauliflower though, yeah, meh to it.

As a Dutch person, I have to stand up for the liquorice! I think we're the only country who consumes tons of the stuff, and it comes in all shapes, sizes and flavours! The one the OP pictured is my least favourite, there are much better ones out there.

I love these:

Coins, they are hard and a bit sweet

And these:

Salty herrings, they are softer on the inside

And there are so many more, sweet, salty, soft, hard, honey flavoured, peppermint, combinations with winegums, shaped like cars, cats, pigs, atm cards, dinosaurs etc! lol

We used to have a local Dutch store where my father would get all his ethnic treats INCLUDING Dutch double-salt licorice coins. Sadly, it was a family store, and the store died off as the family members did.
