My name is Donna. I am 62 years old, 5' 5" tall. I live in the Midwest of USA. I am in remission for breast cancer, have Type 2 Diabetes, an under active thyroid, a touch of high blood pressure, some osteoporosis and am working to get healthier. I know losing weight and exercising more will help all of these issues.

I TRY TO WEIGH ON THE 1ST AND LAST DAY OF EACH MONTH ALSO. I HAVE MADE THE GOAL OF LOSING A LITTLE MORE IN SEPT AND OCT AND KEEPING IT A LITTLE LESS THROUGH THE NOV AND DEC HOLIDAYS (AND BAKING SEASON.) I THINK THAT 15 POUNDS OVERALL IS A MORE REALISTIC GOAL FOR ME ESPECIALLY SINCE I LIVE IN A VERY SNOWY AND ICY AREA AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES AND EXERCISE ARE DIFFICULT AFTER OCTOBER 1ST. Jun 23….. 203.0…..(Trend Weight: 204.3)….. Another glucose drop last night which added 300 calories to my day that I didn’t plan. Also I am taking a water pill about every other day so it is hard to gauge fat loss over water loss. The pill is because of my heart issues. I go on Monday to the hospital for some testing, and again next Wednesday. Hoping to get some answers. Root canal went well with the endodentist. I woke up extra hungry today. I hope to stave off any extra calories and make more good choices today. Danced with my son last night for 24 minutes. Fun! I want Onederland so bad I can almost taste it. It just needs to taste better than anything in my fridge or cabinets for me to get there!
Jun 30….. DNW…..(Trend Weight: DNW)….. I will calculate my end of weight tomorrow. After 3 days of travel/sitting and restaurants, it would not be truly accurate. I have doing well and on my daily challenges my weight has been coming down. I am proud of the progress I am continuing to make. Waiting for results of all the heart testing and monitoring that ended yesterday after multiple appointments.

June was a strong month but I didn't lose any weight this week and missed out on the 260 mark I was after. All-in-all, I am very happy with the April to June challenge results. I made some friends and I hope they will add me so we can continue to support each other.
