Hi all. The past few weeks I haven't been eating properly and completely gave up on weight loss. I'm glad this challenge is near the end because I'm going to make another 12 week challenge! Well done for those who have lost weight and continued. Great job!4

My name is Donna. I am 62 years old, 5' 5" tall. I live in the Midwest of USA. I am in remission for breast cancer, have Type 2 Diabetes, an under active thyroid, a touch of high blood pressure, some osteoporosis and am working to get healthier. I know losing weight and exercising more will help all of these issues.
CHALLENGE TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS GOAL: Total Loss of 15 pounds to land at 184.6

I TRY TO WEIGH ON THE 1ST AND LAST DAY OF EACH MONTH ALSO. I HAVE MADE THE GOAL OF LOSING A LITTLE MORE IN SEPT AND OCT AND KEEPING IT A LITTLE LESS THROUGH THE NOV AND DEC HOLIDAYS (AND BAKING SEASON.) I THINK THAT 15 POUNDS OVERALL IS A MORE REALISTIC GOAL FOR ME ESPECIALLY SINCE I LIVE IN A VERY SNOWY AND ICY AREA AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES AND EXERCISE ARE DIFFICULT AFTER OCTOBER 1ST. He found two extra pathways and one of them sideways so after drilling and finding all that, he filled the hole with cotton, put in temp filling, ordered me an antibiotic and is sending me to an endodentist/endodontist. I’ll be calling to make that appt today for asap. Apparently he is located in the same city as the dentist. Got in some shopping and obviously some lunch. My older lady friend went with me and it was nice to spend the day with her. Travel never looks good on me.
Jun 16….. 204.2…..(Trend Weight: 205.0)….. I logged for the first time in awhile yesterday. I kept it under my calorie and carb allotment. Then, after closing, I had a bad glucose drop and stuffed in an extra 200 calories but remained under 1600. 96 degrees yesterday in northern Michigan which is highly unusual for our area. Advisory to stay inside but I don’t have air conditioning. Low level movement. Low calorie burn. Low steps. Low activity.
Jun 23….. 203.0…..(Trend Weight: 204.3)….. Another glucose drop last night which added 300 calories to my day that I didn’t plan. Also I am taking a water pill about every other day so it is hard to gauge fat loss over water loss. The pill is because of my heart issues. I go on Monday to the hospital for some testing, and again next Wednesday. Hoping to get some answers. Root canal went well with the endodentist. I woke up extra hungry today. I hope to stave off any extra calories and make more good choices today. Danced with my son last night for 24 minutes. Fun! I want Onederland so bad I can almost taste it. It just needs to taste better than anything in my fridge or cabinets for me to get there!

Jun 30….. DNW…..(Trend Weight: DNW)….. I will calculate my end of weight tomorrow. After 3 days of travel/sitting and restaurants, it would not be truly accurate. I have doing well and on my daily challenges my weight has been coming down. I am proud of the progress I am continuing to make. Waiting for results of all the heart testing and monitoring that ended yesterday after multiple appointments.

June was a strong month but I didn't lose any weight this week and missed out on the 260 mark I was after. All-in-all, I am very happy with the April to June challenge results. I made some friends and I hope they will add me so we can continue to support each other.
