OK, here we go towards Summer Holiday. Very hectic last 6 months: lost some weight during first challenge but lost it and barely maintained weight during fall and winter. Now motivated to get in shape for the Summer of 2022:
STARTING WEIGHT: 95 KG (first MFP challenge September 2021)
STARTING WEIGHT FOR THIS CHALLENGE: 95.9 kg
CHALLENGE WEIGHT LOSS GOAL: towards 90.0 kg
I do weekly averages and I measure in kg and report on Sundays.
Week 0: April 24th: 95.9 kg (starting weight)

Really pleased to have lost weight again this week.
I've been consistent with logging food and making it as accurate as I can.
Portion control is key for me at the moment, when I lose more weight I'm sure that macros will come into play much more and adjustment of the constituents of my meals will too. But for now, portion control, weighing and logging of what I'm eating is what's working.
I'm just eating what I always have, just in a portion controlled way.
April 10: 15st 10.6lbs.
April 17: 15st 8.6lbs / 218.6lbs/ 99.2kg (-2lbs)
April 24: 15st 7.4lbs / 217.4lbs/ 98.7kg (-1.2lbs)

My name is Donna. I am 61 years old, 5' 5" tall. I live in the Midwest of USA. I am in remission for breast cancer, have Type 2 Diabetes, an under active thyroid, a touch of high blood pressure, some osteoporosis and am working to get healthier. I know losing weight and exercising more will help all of these issues.

I TRY TO WEIGH ON THE 1ST AND LAST DAY OF EACH MONTH ALSO. I HAVE MADE THE GOAL OF LOSING A LITTLE MORE IN SEPT AND OCT AND KEEPING IT A LITTLE LESS THROUGH THE NOV AND DEC HOLIDAYS (AND BAKING SEASON.) I THINK THAT 15 POUNDS OVERALL IS A MORE REALISTIC GOAL FOR ME ESPECIALLY SINCE I LIVE IN A VERY SNOWY AND ICY AREA AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES AND EXERCISE ARE DIFFICULT AFTER OCTOBER 1ST. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT I GET AND STAY AT A HEALTHY WEIGHT DUE TO HEALTH REASONS I WILL SHARE ALONG THE WAY. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! I AM ROOTING FOR YOU AND SUPPORTING YOU ALL 100% WE CAN DO THIS!

Apr 21….. 200.8….. (Trend Weight: 201.4)….. Easter really got me but I managed to reign it back in and get rid of the excess water weight from all the high sodium food. Now, to make progress although it’s pretty clear I won’t make my April goal, I’ll try to get under the 200 mark comfortably and take it from there.

* I have done well at cutting down the fatty fuel intake, but spent the week blissfully counteracting that with a bounty of carbs and sweets “gifted” me from a generous (overweight) ex-boyfriend…go figure! It’s sad and embarrassing to admit I have so little self-discipline, but it’s part of The Journey, I guess. The better news is that I’m consciously working on recognizing “emotional eating”. Still have not figured out an exercise routine, but am doing better at packing meals for my 15-hour work days so I can avoid the fast-food temptations.
