Hurricane Ida survivor Rebuilding our house Rebuilding me

The challenges we've faced in the past few years sound like a country.song
Even so, we are stronger amd are survivors. Our most recent chsllenge was being in our house as Hurricane Ida lifted the roof and pounded it down and then the ceilings csme crashing in one by one. After several months with the insurance and public adjuster we are ready to rebuild. I let the stress get to me and ate whatever I could get my hands on these past 8 montjs amd it shows
I promised myself I would never get to a certain # on the scale and I am within 1 pound of that#. Covid stopped my gym time because they closed for a little while at the peak of it and when it reopened I was still in Mamma Bear mode fiercely protecting my hubby who has leukemia and my 89 year old Daddy.I just startd back last week.
I only do 30 minutes on the bike right noe. No zumbs. No HIIT class and no Dpin class.

I'm a senior now. Kees aren't cooperating like they used to.

Because of my survival mode and not thinking I have a new developement. high blood pressure which has me scared.

I'm not accrpting the aging very well either.

So we are in the frustrating part of finding a contractor with no one available. As we rebuild our home at age 60 it's time once again to rebuild my body.

Lookimg for other survivors of life's plot twists for accountability. Need some cheerleadrrs please. I am an optimist but this has been THE most challenhing part of our journey so far.

Thanks for listening.
