5/17 – 137.8 Man, I am just struggling to get my act together. I am not sure I ever even managed to post during round 186. So at least, here is a post. I am going to try and post each day for this round, and honestly track. fingers crossed!!
5/18 – 137.2 Yesterday, I made it through the day calorically. Tracked in full. Could not coordinate exercise, which I need to fix. Then, in the evening, new stressors hit. I should have used that as exercise impetus, but instead it meant I got into cheese and crackers that were not tracked. Shocked I went down. Today is looking good. Will try and keep “my eye in the prize”!
5/19 – 136.6 Actually did a good day! Calories all on track, and somehow I closed all my apple rings without official exercise.
5/20 – 135.6 Yay for me! Ok, still not formal exercise, but I avoided bad food choices for two days in a row. Last night was also “lazy night” ie subs for dinner. As a study, I disassembled the sub and weighed the total, then the bread, and estimated each of the components. (Yes, I reassembled before eating. ) I then tracked it and saved on MFP as a meal.
5/21 – 135.6 Even with yesterday. I finally exercised again! Yes, it was only walking, but I have done nothing since leaving Florida three weeks ago. Got out again this morning before writing this check-in. I need to establish the habit again like I had a year ago. Tracking and food choices are good enough. I won’t weigh what I hoped to for nephew’s wedding, but that’s life. More importantly, I need to do my exercise and eat healthfully to get my health markers back on track. Last fall’s rapid, stress-induced weight gain combined with no exercise gave me some concerning numbers. Gotta focus on the long run!!
5/22 – 137.4 Yup, day was good. Got exercise. Fully tracked. Made good choices, but then was 14 calories over. So that gave me free rein to go much more over. Lots of salt and carbs involved, so even though there were calories involved, I expect much of the up will flush out relatively quickly.
5/23 – 137.2 As Brittney Spears would say, oops I did it again!

5/23 - 152.5 - I'm not mad about it. Went to the river to get some sun and fresh air. It was super relaxed. FamWife had lasagna pre-made before we left so only had to pop it in the oven when we got home. Between being in the sun and not being able to keep up with water quite as well as I'd like (though better than most lake/river days) plus heavy lasagna for dinner, this weight is a pleasant surprise. I do feel better. Slight fatigue, but I spent a week sleeping and suddenly waking up at 3am again might be a factor. Still a tad bit of brain fog, but again the sudden 3am wakeup could factor in. BF dealing with fatigue only, but seems to be on the mend (hence river trip). I have bbq chicken drumstick with collard greens and homemade mashed potatoes for lunch today. Back to my overnight oats for breakfast. Now to catch up on a week's worth of emails, aaaaaah!

Previous Day's Comments5/17 - Virtual chat with doc today. She said she's had minimum 3 patients within the last week with the flu and all of them have almost identical symptoms as me. I'm on her orders to stay home from work until Monday to avoid being contagious around others outside the household (which can't be helped). I'm feeling better today, mainly this afternoon. Finally able to eat something other than broth for lunch/afternoon snack. Not near enough food, but muuuuuch better than yesterday. Giving my poor body energy to fight is important but trying to keep it down is more important. Yesterday and this morning was tiny sips of water and barely over 30oz. A little better this afternoon, can take bigger sips more frequently without nausea. TMI is iffy, but that may be from the illness OR from dehydration (it's a thing with me as I've learned in this group over time!) or both. I'm not going to weigh until I feel a little more back to normal, especially regarding water intake vs salty broth intake (the bloat is reaaaaaaal over here). But I needed nutrients however I could get them and keep them in my system so I'm not even mad about it and that's more important than how I look. Fatigue isn't as bad as yesterday, but still a tad bit there. I've been feeling warmer than I normally do (not curled up with a hoodie and blanket but in just a tshirt and no blanket. Very unusual for me). In the last hour or two I've finally started feeling my normal cold and I'm content in a hoodie (but no blanket yet so still elevated temp feeling). Doc thinks I'm on the recovery side of it, thankfully, so I'm going to chug along with caring for my body and doing what it needs for recovery vs needs to lose weight/gain muscle. On a happier note, I have an initial interview on Thursday (hopefully I'll be recovered enough by then) for a remote job. Need to email the local one I really want to see if there's any update.
5/18 - I'm feeling a bit better. Now it's the same symptoms of dehydration, which it very likely is. I do have a little fatigue, but better every day so far. I've had breakfast already and no cramping or nausea so much improvement there. All the fuel for my body to fight this illness off! Chugging down water and think, as long as I don't start to feel worse, I'll hit my 90oz again today. BF got notified he moved on to interview #1 for the screening interview he had last week. He also had a screening interview this morning for another job. (both these jobs have screening, interview #1, interview #2. Must pass each one to move on to next). My interview tomorrow is just a screening interview, I'm not terribly worried about that one. It's remote, so it's an improvement, but it's not my "ideal" job. We shall see how it goes. Emailed the job I really wanted for the county and the HR lady is out of office until Monday so I imagine I won't hear anything until then since almost everything goes through HR (she does have an assistant, but I haven't communicated with said assistant previously). They've been looking for someone for this position for 3 years and I've gotten the furthest apparently. Wish I knew about it when I moved down here! Apparently they hadn't kept the posting up and that explains why I didn't see it when looking for jobs to move to Texas in the first place. This round was posted only 19 days ago. Ahhh, waiting game.
5/19 - Feeling better today. Took the kiddo to school so BF could shower, shave, and get what I call "man-pretty" for his interview. Found out last night, he completely skipped over Interview #1. This is it. This interview (he's currently doing) will determine if he gets a job or not. He said it could take a month or two to find out. He also has a pre-screening interview this afternoon as well. I'm all prettied up for my interview (by pretty I mean I put on clothes that make me feel like I'm in a real interview) but it's only a phone call. Sometimes you just have to get ALL the way ready to really get in the mood and with me not feeling 100% quiiiite yet, I'm using every trick under the sun. Plan on using a power pose (think Superwoman pose: fists on hips, chest and chin held high and confident) to help get those feelings flowing through me as well. Also emailed a follow up for the local county job but the HR lady is out of office until Monday according to her auto-reply. All the things happening in this household! Hopefully some good news for both of us coming soon. Also hoping this fatigue fades before I have to resume commuting to current job. Anxiety about that is really hitting me, despite having 3 more days, plus rest of today, to recover and get rested. Also hoping tomorrow I'll feel good enough to weigh in and see where I'm at. Had normal dinner yesterday as well as my ham, cheese, spinach quiche for breakfast with no issue. I wouldn't be shocked or angry if I'm up. I know I may still be retaining water and that's okay. Body was in survival mode. Water was good yesterday and today I'm on track to get my 90oz as well.

Day/Weight/Comment
05/16 …..203.4….. ENDING WEIGHT LAST ROUND
05/17 …..204.2 ….. (Trend weight 203.2) All day travel throughout Northern Michigan yesterday with a friend who had an appointment to look at a new (used) vehicle. Then lots of fun girl time and travel hitting car lots within a 200 mile vicinity. We think we found something after hours. Waiting for a return call today. Nice meal at a steak house. Snacks weren’t good.
05/18 …..204.4 ….. Trend weight 203.2) Dinner out with one of my children last night. Late Mother’s Day dinner. Mexican. Today is my PC doctor appointment and glucose check. I know it won’t be good. I am beginning to suffer from severe Acid Reflux again. All the problems of obesity are returning. I know I have to get more serious and stay more consistent or more trouble is coming.
05/19 …..203.4 ….. (Trend weight 203.3) A friend brought dinner over last night. It was a pasta casserole which was loaded with chicken. I think I really needed the protein. My A1C went down at my doctor appointment but is still way to high standing at 10 point something. She wants to see me at 6.4 . She is going to see if another injectable medicine can be approved by my insurance company as she thinks I am having an allegric reaction to Trulicity (rash at injection site). Obviously she wants me to increase movement and lower my carbs to lower weight and glucose. She talked about my weight and how it will affect the cancer remission. Scary stuff.
05/20 …..201.0 ….. (Trend weight 203.0) A big drop on the scale which is mostly water weight. With all the travel of late I had not been able to take my water pill (heart) which I take 3 times per week. I also had extra fluid buildup from the swelling caused by the gnat bite attack. Also, a very early dinner last night, but it did lead to some snacking later. I kept that snacking under pretty good control, however. I would say my real weight is more like 202. We will see what happens tomorrow.
05/21 …..201.6 ….. (Trend weight 202.9) This is likely my true weight at this point. I like that it is at 201 point because it makes me feel like Onederland can be achieved soon. Of course, until I hit 197 point I don’t feel secure in it so I still have a way to go but I’m feeling hopeful as the good weather enters Northern Michigan more consistently.
05/22 …..203.0 ….. (Trend weight 202.9) There was some unexpected travel yesterday. About 4 hours of sitting and driving with very little movement. Fitbit shows very low calorie burn and hardly any steps (4000+). More travel today which will take much longer and be much further. Lunch or dinner will be out. Choosing wisely and watching portions is the game plan. But I know the calorie burn will be much lower than normal.
05/23 …..204.8 ….. (Trend weight 203.1) This doesn’t make any sense whatsoever, but I won’t make excuses. Some travel yesterday but I was there and back in about 4 hours so no meal out was necessary.

I did a bit better yesterday/last night, but definitely a work in progress. Off to teach a doggy obedience class, then home to work more in my garden. I spend three hours yesterday manually edging a bed, digging out heavy clay. Definitely weight training!
5/18 - 181
Stayed within calories yesterday, and got lots of “real life” exercise—3 hours of dog training & teaching an obedience class + two hours digging out more garden border and planting a few seedlings. It’s rainy today, but I got a bit of garden time between rains.
5/19 - 181
Went way over with cheese yesterday—wonderful sharp white cheddar. Oh, well. Back on track today.
5/20 - 180.8
Off to stock up on veggies for salads and soup, then back to the garden. I have a bunch of seedlings to get into the ground—zinnias, cosmos, nasturtiums, sunflowers, more. Will be colorful! Happy Friday, all!

Day/Weight/Comment
5/17 - day 1 again. Feeling optimistic. Joined this app again after being inactive for two years. Food planned for the day, hope to stay put.
5/18- Morning mood: woke up feeling energetic and happy. I haven't had a good day in terms of healthy choices and self discipline in ages. Determined to make it to a streak of 2. End of day: Had a good day overall but felt hungry at times. In the evening, I almost gave in to the late evening snack monster, but ended up having a few hazelnuts instead.
5/19 - Morning: Feeling really hopeful and determined to keep this streak up for as long as I can. I've forgotten how much tracking helps. I've organized my meals for the day and hope for the best. With the weekend ahead I feel very grateful for this head start.
5/20 - Almost didn't check in today because of lack of time at work. Thankfully, I thought it over and realized it took me just 3 minutes to log in, log my food and write these lines. Made me feel so much better. Meeting a friend for a drink tonight, so I'm nervous about my choices, especially with the weekend around the corner. But with this new-found confidence, I hope I can make it.
5/21 weigh-in this morning 73,7! Finally starting to feel like myself again, less bloated and feeling full all the time. I also just realized that I made it half way through this challenge quite easily. Definitely joining the next one. Anyway, the dreaded weekend is here. I have a dinner party tonight and a children's birthday party tomorrow morning. Thankfully the friend who is cooking tonight is into healthy food and usually doesn't go overboard but I'm still very nervous. If anyone is reading this and has any tips, they're greatly appreciated.
5/22 so last night didn't go very well foodwise. The scale showed an increase, which is understandable, so today at the birthday party I need to be extra careful.Still determined to make it through this challenge, so that's something at least.
5/23 Yesterday was not a very good day. I did keep on track at the birthday party but came home and gave in to the takeaway ordered by hubby and son. No use beating myself up over it though, just started fresh this morning. Decided not to weigh in till the end of this challenge to keep myself hoping for more loss.

5/23 197.6 (+8.4) Finally back from my vacation to Botswana and Zimbabwe. It was two weeks of meeting incredible people, seeing African animals in the wild and eating the most amazing food. My plan was to eat what I wanted, just smaller portions. That went out the window right away with the professional chefs at the safari camps. I enjoyed every moment. At the same time, I was so grateful to be 70 pounds less than the last time I traveled internationally. Climbing in the safari vehicles, squeezing into the seats on the small puddle jumper planes, dragging my luggage through multiple airports and feeling so much more confident made such a huge difference in my enjoyment of this trip. I can’t wait to go again someday weighing even less than I did when I started this trip. Only a few days left on this challenge, but I wanted to jump back in. I do have a cold, so it will be a few days before I'm back on the exercise train. Missed you all!!9 -

17: DNW 🥚
18: DNW 🥚I missed several rounds, but I'm back and glad it wasn't more rounds. Yesterday, I bought a Nordictrack elliptical off Marketplace for $20! The day before, I picked up a free Gold's Gym elliptical. Now, we have one for each house, and I can cancel my gym membership since it's the only thing I ever really used anyway. I'm very excited to not have to commute to access my preferred exercise method, especially since my house is 15 miles away from the gym and my bf's is about 30.
I know I've gained weight through this process of trying to adjust to living between two homes. I'm not sure how much, since I haven't been weighing. I'm guessing it's 10-15 pounds, but I suspect about half of that will come off fairly quickly. While I've been gaining from eating less healthy and not exercising as much, my bf has been losing weight from eating better than he used to! How's that for compromise? 🤣
I'm REALLY looking forward to getting back on track again. Going to get on my elliptical right now!
19: 200.9 🥚 10 pounds it is. Incremental goals reassessed. Getting on elliptical for third consecutive day after I get my kids to school.
20: 201.9 Wrong direction! My eating window ran a bit later than usual, but I weighed at the same time this morning. Will still complete 16 hour fast. Heading to bf's later today, and I'm taking my scale with me. Not sure if it's a great idea to be moving it back and forth every week, but not weighing for a week at a time definitely isn't working for me.
21: 202.3 Not sure what's going on. Maybe traveling with the scale. Maybe not enough water yesterday. Also took a rest day, after 3 days on elliptical. So far, food and water today are good.

5/18 234.6 Unsurprising. Ate dinner late yesterday, didn’t get enough sleep, stress, blah blah blah. In the office today so will get plenty of steps in and headed to the gym after work to let some of the stress out.

5/17: 132.5 - I’m right in the middle of my maintenance range for the first time. Normal workout and lots of housework yesterday. Pretty much ate the same things as the day before but drank more water. Good sleep for once.
5/18: 132.3 - Normal workouts, eating and sleep. Need to try and get more protein in my diet though and work on macros.
5/19: 132.5 - Normal workouts. I changed my calorie goals back to maintenance and ate back a large portion of my exercise calories yesterday. Still didn’t hit my protein goals, but percentage-wise was spot on. Good sleep.
5/20: 132.3 - Normal workouts but didn’t have dinner until almost 8 pm. We were enjoying the beautiful warm weather with “Drinks on the Driveway” with our neighbors and had a number stop by that normally don’t. Good to catch up with them.
5/21: 132.3 - Normal workout. Still need to focus on how much sleep I’m getting. Last few nights I’ve stayed up too late.
5/22: 132.7 - Normal workout. Ate the same as yesterday and got 8+ hours of sleep for the first time in a long time!
5/23: 132.5 - Normal workouts and protein heavyish eating, which means for me I met my protein macros - something that I have a hard time doing. Good sleep. I’m still trying to figure my way around the world of maintenance.

05/17 - 176.7 - 13,200 steps and 75 minutes. Well SO got called back to work, what a week I ordered a cake from a bakery and had to change the pickup date. Then I thought he was leaving this afternoon and I would be stuck with a whole cake, but he wiggled in an extra day home. Good news as we had planned a dinner out with some of the family to celebrate both his birthday and paying off our mortgage!! Hooray we are debt free!! Will celebrate with a bottle of wine! Calories are up and activity is down but that's ok as I'm spending time with my Love.
05/18 - 177.1- 13,800 and 92. Steps and minutes good, well over on calories but dinner was amazing with a pretty gin sour and glass of wine. I did box up some of my dinner and only had a small piece of birthday cake, usually I would have ate way more appies and all of my dinner. So I was technically somewhat mindful. I did have a great evening and I WILL get right back to my goals. SO left for work this morning so I'll have some of my leftovers tonight and eat light the next couple of days, plus a good walk in the evenings!
05/19 - 177.7 - 14,700 and 80. Huge wind storm here yesterday. Power was out at work, roads were full of trees, debris and a even a car shelter. Didn't take my 2nd walk but got extra steps in at work and the grocery store was closed so lunch today isn't the best. The scale number isn't so bad, I did have my dinner leftovers for lunch so a little more sodium then usual. It'll get back in line ... soon. This morning the sun is shining so I'm looking forward to a better day.
05/20 - 175.9 - 20,700 and 136. Yay!! Seeing that 5 again. SO should be home late tonight ... The scales going to be a rollercoaster!!
05/21 - 176.3. - 18,700 and 128. Dinner out with wine. The sun has shown up.
05/22 - 176.6 - 13,300 and 68. Long drive and a late night walk to get my steps in. Spent some time with GS, mostly outside in the sun and another unplanned dinner. Rollercoaster. SO is leaving for work in the morning so a good push again to see that 5. Great few days though.
05/23 - 177.2 - 18,800 and 114. Seen the GS had another over calories dinner with wine but did get a good walk in. SO is off to work for at least 2 weeks so I will get back on track with that. Should have another whoosh soon and hopefully TMI happens soon. The last few days have been really busy, need to catch up on reading all your posts. Hope you are all doing well!

5/17 / 167 / Two day work conference is a wrap! Back to regular work tomorrow. I rode the Peloton for 60 minutes this evening and got a PR. Nice feeling.
5/18 / 165.4 / Had a nonstop day as we had an out of town family member in that had never been to Alberta before so we took him out for a quick trip to the mountains and back. Bed time now!
5/19 / 165.6 / Had a good day at work that included two coffee meetings and a lunch with my husband. Supper tonight was delicious and it was cold and rainy so we stayed in and watched some TV with my Mom. I rode the Peloton before a hot shower and got a new 30 minute PR.
5/20 / 163.2 / The Victoria Day long weekend is almost upon us. We are going up to the lake after work and will be there until Monday. There is a walk and shop event at our trailer, we are getting our dog groomed, and we hope to get our boat in the water. Lots of fun ahead!
5/21 / 162 / We were up early today to take our dog for grooming. Had a nice breakfast in the city and then came back to our trailer for the walk and shop event. Got a good number of steps. We are having BBQ tonight.
5/22 / 163.2 / Beautiful day here. My husband made an epic breakfast, and we're working on getting our pontoon boat in the water today. Life is good!
5/23 / 162.8 / Holiday here in Canada so we are looking forward to another day of fun in the sun!

THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieving permanent change.
REMINDERS: One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

Goal: No more than 60 g added sugar daily, 4 walks this round denoted by**
Highest weight: 178.8
R 187 Starting weight: 165.2
Day/Weight/Comment
5/17 165.8 I feel like I've gotten control of my sugar habit—but that it won't be a lifetime struggle, but I know what works for me now (the 'delay, don't deny' approach: I still get my dark chocolate and Coke, but only a portioned amount in the one-hour window after dinner). Now I want to tackle my (lack of) exercise. Looking over post rounds, I average 2 walks per round. Yes, I have mobility challenges but I'm determined to move more! Would really like to meet my goal of 4 walks this round.
5/18 164.8 Feeling great about this!
5/19 165.6 Still early in the round. Lots of time to nudge the scale downward!
5/20 164.8 I'm surprised by this. I had an extra piece of chocolate yesterday after doomscrolling about monkeypox and thought it might catch up to me.
**5/21 165.6 This is going to be an active weekend, so there's a decent chance I'll see 164 again soon.
5/22 165.8 I did walk a lot yesterday, but didn't outwalk the extra calories. I don't want to keep creeping up. I'll be more mindful today.
5/23 167.4 Yikes. I know what's going on. I've been staying up late to watch a new-to-us show with my husband and he's a late night snacker who's been sharing with me. One of my most successful rules is to stop eating after 8 pm and I've ignored it to have 'fun'—conveniently forgetting that stepping onto the scale 2-3 pounds heavier is NOT fun!

Goals this challenge- EDIT: Practice intuitive eating; Pelo or run 2-3x week; strength training 2-3x week.
SW: 181.8
5/17: 183.6 I increased my weights in my strength training routine yesterday, so that’s likely the cause. Still annoying though.
5/18: 184.0
5/19: DNW- Been giving a lot of thought to my method, and the mental toll it’s been taking. I decided to stop weighing daily, so it’ll be M, W, F for now. I’m also beginning to wonder if I may have an ED, because weight loss has consumed my life for so, so long. I’ve decided to learn more about intuitive eating.
5/20: 185.8 Not surprised by this as I shift to more of an IE approach. I had some fruit these past two days, which I haven’t allowed myself to have much of aside from berries for a very long time.
5/21: DNW
5/22: DNW I’m slowly losing the food guilt. We had dinner out last night-Mexican! So chips and salsa, and margaritas. Usually I stick to fajitas because they can be low carb if I don’t eat the tortillas and sides. I decided to have my favorite- Chile rellenos! And when I followed my body’s lead, I only finished a third of my meal. Huge win! I’m starting to feel more confident in my ability to listen to my body.
5/23: 185.6 I’m super happy with this! I’m proving to myself that I absolutely can trust my body to tell me what it needs, even with dinner out over the weekend! Not weighing again until either Wednesday or Thursday.

5/24 Getting back on track. Monday was a good day and I'm feeling motivated and determined again! This challenge is really helping me too.

Round 187 ( my 119th). Thanks @QuiltingJaine.
Just want to stick with it !!Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, It's took me 75 rounds to achieve my under 130 target; back to maintenance again!! But then I crept up again, so need to get back under 130. A healthy life style has to be a permanent way of life.SW: 136.4

Day/Weight/Comment
5/17 136.4 – DS wedding day. Yesterday we travelled up to Sheffield to help with preparations particularly in their garden for the reception, tent & gazebo erected, bunting hung, afternoon tea stands constructed etc. Today we get their house early to help with last minute preps. & look after the little ones whilst the bride has her hair & make up done etc. And the sun is shining, the sky is blue. Report back later tomorrow.
5/18 136.4 – Yesterday was a wonderful day, youngest DGD (11 months) led her DS (aged 3), bride & bride's DF down the aisle pushing her walker festooned with flowers – she stole the show!! Bride looked stunning & DS so handsome – he has lost 2 stone for this day!! The whole day went very smoothly and was laid back just as they wanted, everyone had a brilliant day. So lovely to have DIL finally officially “part of our family” even though she has been our 2nd DD for a decade or so. Today it was back to their house to help take tent & gazebo down & last tidying up after they had all left for their honeymoon (DGDs too) down to Cornwall, and then we travelled back home.
5/19 137.8 – not surprised really as I enjoyed the day!! Child minding little DGS today.
5/20 137.8 – 8.51 miles walked all pushing little DGS in his buggy. Food was not good though .
5/21 137.2 – 4.19 miles recorded, yesterday I started a new seasonal job; exam invigilator at a local secondary school. I am disappointed that my Fitbit does not seem to seem to count the slow gentle quiet steps during the 2.5 hour exam!! Maybe next week I'll try strapping it to my ankle? Food was good all day until we had a delicious piece of wedding cake made by DIL, should have had a slither not a chunk !!!
5/22 137.6 – wedding cake from Friday caught up with me? 12.1 miles walked, three quarters of exercise calories eaten back. Feel more “in the zone”.
5/23 138.2 – 9.39 miles walked, two thirds exercise calories eaten back.
5/24 138.8 – 6.88 miles walked.

5/24 174.4 Headed back in the right direction. Hope to be back where I started by the 26th. Fingers crossed, but working the plan!

5/24 - 151.6 - That's a pleasant surprise. I was very hungry yesterday. I ate almost all of my lunch (it was a very large portion) and almost all of my dinner (BF likes to pile the butter noodles high, but I left some of those on the plate). Grandparents got hit by tornado either Sunday night or Monday morning, but they're okay. Got the news (finally) right as I went to bed which caused a spike in anxiety. Did fall asleep but much later than I wanted. I have an energy packet (the all natural kind with loads of vitamins. It does seem to help on days like today when I'm exhausted and it's gloomy and stormy and absolutely perfect sleeping weather). Hopefully it'll give me enough energy to knock out a few body weight moves for "exercise" though it's not a proper workout. Focus is to get more movement in general, I'm feeling very weak lately not having worked out properly in so long. Found out BF has to work Saturday so I have to go get the other two kiddos for summer. BigBro's last day is Thursday and he will start working full time (he's been wanting that). Found out my county job is planning on scheduling an interview very soon. I have my remote job interview on Friday. Fingers crossed one of them at least ends in an offer so I can enjoy summer with kids a little more (only seeing them Friday-midday Sunday isn't fun. Plus they're loud and my sleep is severely reduced when they're home because of the extra noise to try to sleep through. Worth it, I love having them around!)

5/23 - I'm not mad about it.
