Workout Partner

I use strength training app, go walking, hiking and biking. While I enjoy all those things I lack the motivation to stick to a daily routine.

It would be nice to have a virtual workout buddy to keep me honest.
If you want to be friends to help each other stay on track each day send me an invite.

One thing you could consider would be participating in one of the "what's your exercise" threads here. Here are a couple of examples:

    https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10705619/what-was-your-work-out-today#latest
    https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/331789/tlfc-exercise-and-accountability-support#latest

Since it looks like you might be fairly new to the MFP Community: Don't be dismayed if you open those threads and see old posts. Like any long-running threads here, the newest posts are at the end, on the high-numbered pages. They're still both active.

Another option would be one of the challenge threads/groups in the Challenges part of the Community, direct link here:

    https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/categories/challenges

There are a bunch of different ones, some sport specific (like cycling), some less so (mileage of whatever), some very general (hours per month of exercise). You can read the intro posts, maybe find something that seems like a good fit for you.

We're all individuals, so I can't speak for you . . . but I find things like motivation, accountability, etc., to be solo sports. They're things I need to create for myself. Other people/groups/tools can help me with that, but it's my responsibility in the last analysis. It helps me, in a weird way, if I acknowledge that I'm the one in full control of my choices.

Best wishes for success in establishing the habits that support your goals!
