Barbara— Thank you for your kind words. The little Hummingbirds are doing ok. We had high water in the Columbia River. Our home was safe and dry but the birds seemed to struggle a bit. River levels have come down & the birds are doing better.

    Good morning ladies!
I lost half a pound last week so I'm back at 165.8, where I was two weeks ago. I lost two weeks of progress by eating food I bought when my cousin was here. If I lose two weeks at every special occasion, no wonder this weight loss overall is so stagnant. Hmm.

Lisa hope for the best for your daughter. DoD works in mysterious ways.

Machka silver linings, you get to work from home ;) Are you in the new, less chatty job yet?

    2022: Be still and listen.
June: Move more, fuel better, live NOW.

It was really nice to work from home today. No buses! I got the same amount done as I would have if I had been in the office ... without the noise, language, etc. Although, I must qualify that the 2 remaining people in the office are pretty good.

I was able to go for a walk to the beach and back at lunch. That was great.

Then after work, because I'm just a social contact and not a close contact, we went to a play (with masks on). We love going to plays at this particular theatre but have only been to a couple in recent years. It's all local people - they rarely have companies coming through from the mainland. This play was a variation on an Agatha Christie. :)

When I got the tickets, I decided to get us memberships to this Theatre. We're hoping to go to a couple more plays in coming months.

I'd love to start going to the Symphony again, but it is really expensive now.

I have not started my second position yet ... not officially. I have been over for a meet and greet and a meeting and have talked via email several times in the past few months. I start in July in one building but they're planning to move "soon". I was hoping they might have made the move already but nope, not yet. Although I did see lights on in the place they're moving, so maybe they're working on it.
