I did my dumbbells! Yay!
Still fighting fleas on poor Teddy. Tonight I gave him the Capstar again which knocks out the adults but only lasts a day or two. Saturday I can finally give him the Frontline Gold which is what the vet recommended. Then I start the laundry and vacuuming again. Sigh.
Barbara I do a Leslie Sansone beginner one mile video on YouTube. She is quite energetic and excitable, and sometimes her "peppy talking" is a bit much after the peaceful yoga. But I like the simple low impact exercises and the cues are good and it suits my knee, and it really is cheerful once I'm ready for it.

Barbara - Good to know! Thank you for letting me know.0

Barbara— Thank you for your kind words. The little Hummingbirds are doing ok. We had high water in the Columbia River. Our home was safe and dry but the birds seemed to struggle a bit. River levels have come down & the birds are doing better.3

Lisa - “this too shall pass” is hard as an older person to think of when going through something.
Hope they end up going online.
We had a discussion at work today about not understanding how someone can or can’t do something. Then when we have a similar thing we understand. Our analogy was cosleeping with children.
Carol - that must have been devastating for their children. I can’t imagine losing both the same day.
Kelly - my daughter had the procedure to get pregnant the day this little one was born. It is bittersweet for her I’m sure. Her friend suffered a miscarriage a couple of years ago so she understands and is letting my daughter have whatever times she wants. She just said to her the other day when DD wanted to continue wearing her, “if she gets hungry, phone a friend”. 🙂
Lanette - I’ll post a pic of myself with both of my girls. Our eldest looks even more like me.
Debbie - I hope DH listens and gets some help.
Barbara - Michaela is 6 and doesn’t really understand hockey or cheering for a team. She told me her favourite team is the Penguins, because they are cute. When they aren’t playing she cheers for the Oilers because they are her brother’s favourite team. When they went out she is cheering for the Avalanche because they are her Dad’s favourite. Really she just supports her family more than the teams. LOL
Annie - I used to do Leslie Sansone in the winter. I need to get back to her.
I had ceramics tonight. I am working on this piece for my BF. I am struggling with it. I don’t think I’m allowed to curse while working on it though.

Good morning ladies!
I lost half a pound last week so I'm back at 165.8, where I was two weeks ago. I lost two weeks of progress by eating food I bought when my cousin was here. If I lose two weeks at every special occasion, no wonder this weight loss overall is so stagnant. Hmm.
Lisa hope for the best for your daughter. DoD works in mysterious ways.

Machka silver linings, you get to work from home Are you in the new, less chatty job yet?

2022: Be still and listen.
June: Move more, fuel better, live NOW.
It was really nice to work from home today. No buses! I got the same amount done as I would have if I had been in the office ... without the noise, language, etc. Although, I must qualify that the 2 remaining people in the office are pretty good.
I was able to go for a walk to the beach and back at lunch. That was great.
Then after work, because I'm just a social contact and not a close contact, we went to a play (with masks on). We love going to plays at this particular theatre but have only been to a couple in recent years. It's all local people - they rarely have companies coming through from the mainland. This play was a variation on an Agatha Christie.
When I got the tickets, I decided to get us memberships to this Theatre. We're hoping to go to a couple more plays in coming months.
I'd love to start going to the Symphony again, but it is really expensive now.
I have not started my second position yet ... not officially. I have been over for a meet and greet and a meeting and have talked via email several times in the past few months. I start in July in one building but they're planning to move "soon". I was hoping they might have made the move already but nope, not yet. Although I did see lights on in the place they're moving, so maybe they're working on it.
