Hi,
I am a new member to MFP been using it for 5 days now and finding it really useful. I hope to get more advice and tips on calorie counting and possibly training.
My aim is too loose body fat. I really enjoy weight training and some low impact cardio.

Hi, Richard, and welcome to the MFP Community from an old-timer (in both senses: 66 y/o, nearly 7 years on MFP, through loss and maintenance since).
If you have specific questions, please post them. If you know the Community topic area that's closest to your question (like Fitness and Exercise, Food and Nutrition, etc.), post in that area. If you're not sure, just go with the Health and Weight Loss area or Getting Started. There are lots of experienced people around who'll try to help.
Also, one of my favorite tips for new folks is to read the things in the "Most Helpful Posts" part of the Community topic areas (as you have time), starting with the ones in "Getting Started" and "Health and Weight Loss". Here are direct links to those two areas:
