My name is Donna. I am 5’ 5” tall, 62 years old and from the Midwest USA. In 2016 I weighed 253 lbs. I am on a journey of health and to get back to the real me.
Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!
    250’s; 240’s; 230’s; 220's; 210's; 200's; 190's; 180’s; 170's; 160's; 150’s

    Goal: (Five lb Loss) 195.0
    Actual Ending Weight: xxxxx

Weight in blue makes me blue because it’s a gain. Weight in fuchsia pink makes me feel cheery because it’s a loss. Weight in black means no change.

    09/05-197.0-(Trend Weight 199.2)-

09/06-196.8-(Trend Weight 198.9)- I just noticed that from (basically) the start of last fall 2021 to the end of the Michigan winter in 2022, I gained 12 pounds! I CANNOT let that happen again! In fact, I am STILL NOT BACK DOWN to where I was on Sept 19 which was 187.6 . 10 more pounds to lose just to break even. How sad. On a good note, I am starting to feel my hip bones poking out. They are still in there after all.

09/07-196.2-(Trend Weight 198.7)- I almost caved in last night when I started to experience hunger. Then I realized it was not so much hunger as it was boredom. I drank some water and hopped on that new exercise bike and (carefully since I’m not approved yet for exercise), pedaled a bit without letting my heart rate get up very high. Wow, the new bike is really quiet! I can hear the TV! Travel today to eye doctor for son & I. Dinner will be out. I like the way my weight is going down and I can report it in pink or black more consistently. I won’t ruin that today at the restaurant. Friday I go back to see the surgeon which is a longer trip. I may take my friend, her son and my son and make a day of it. Probably a whole new restaurant experience in a new city. THAT is the day I have to be strong. I think I’ll be okay today.

I’m also a daily weigher so really happy to have found this group. I live in B.C., Canada, am 75 yrs old and focusing on staying active, toning and getting back into the 150’s. After retiring a few yrs ago I felt there was still “more” to my life so started working as a server etc at a local seniors’ assisted living home. It’s hard work but I love helping the elderly. My hugest challenge is evening / late night eating; this has been a lifelong struggle. A year ago I was 9 lbs lighter so that’s my 3rd milestone goal. I used WW blue plan as a guideline but had my best success with Noom; now pulling together the best parts of each program but the group wisdom and support I find with MFP is what really keeps me from straying too far off the plan.

    1st goal: 161; 2nd goal – 158 (by end of Sept), 3rd goal - 156

    Sept 1st: 164.4 stacked wood,
    2nd: 164.4
3rd: 164 Plan is to start treadmilling today (15 minutes). Did 30 minutes
    4th: 166..8
5th: 165 Crocheted instead of nibbling.
6th: 164.4 Sooo much stress but crocheted to get thru the evening. Shoulder started hurting, hope it’s not caused by my crocheting b/c it’s a difficult pattern. Ended evening the evening with a small glass of wine.
7th: 162.4 crossing my finger I can hold this wt drop.

    Hi there!
My name is Ashley, I'm 35 years old, and in early 2021 I weighed 293 pounds.
I'm now in my maintenance range (160-165). I have learned so much about myself through this process!

Sep 1 - 163 (I knew I had a long day at work so I got up before 5 to ride the Peloton. Work did go late, but I managed to fit a dog walk and a strength session in tonight as well. Feels good!)
Sep 2 - 163.8 (Checking in from the back seat of my vehicle as we drive across two provinces of Canada to get to my Aunt's wedding.)
Sep 3 - 162.8 (Hotel breakfast and then I hit the hotel gym for a treadmill session. Lunch was fairly indulgent and there is a reasonable amount of alcohol around for pre-wedding socializing. Trying to pace myself.)
    Sep 4 - 166.2
    Sep 5 - 166
Sep 6 - 165.6 (We had a fantastic time at the wedding. Definitely ate and drank way too much BUT that's the good thing about daily weighing.. doesn't turn into a 3 month binge. We are back on the road home today so it's another 11 hour day in the car. Tomorrow we start driving west for my husband's bike race but we are breaking that drive up so tomorrow and Thursday's jaunts won't be such long days. Lots of car time means when I'm out of it I need to be moving!)
Sep 7- 165.2 (Today we are driving west to Kamloops, BC. We are on our way to Vancouver for my husband's Gran Fondo on Saturday. I just had a diner meal that was much heavier than my normal choices. Getting a bit caught up in vacation mode decision making.)

I'm Christie, an Aussie, mum to the BEST three year old in the world (I am not even biased). I work as an accountant at a gold mine, which basically means I'm chained to a desk for 9 hours a day! Not great for the waistline, so I try to get up and move my body throughout the day and I'm trying to source a stand-up desk (if my boss will fund it...).

    Initial Starting Weight: 138.3kg (304.9lbs)
    September Starting Weight: 131.2kg (289.2lbs)
    September Goal Weight: 129.5kg (285.5lbs)
    Ultimate Goal Weight: 64kg (141lbs)

    SEPTEMBER GOALS (DAILY):
    ⚖️ Weigh in
    👟 Walk 5,500+ steps
🥕 Eat 5 serves of vegetables
🍎 Eat 2 serves of fruit
🍽 Serve a smaller portion than "usual"
    🥞 Eat breakfast
🍫 No snacking directly from the package

    DAILY LOG:
    September 1: ⚖️ 131.0kg (-0.2kg) 👟 3,812 steps 🥕 1 serve 🍎 1 serve 🍽 Yes 🥞 Yes 🍫 Yes
Area for improvement tomorrow: Overall not a very active day. When I was leaving work at 4pm I hadn't even managed 1200 steps all day! That's how you know it's month end at work - I'm stuck at my desk and don't get much movement. Will work harder on that tomorrow.
Today's Little Victory: Served a smaller portion for dinner, felt satisfied so didn't go back for anything else to eat which was a great thing for me.

    September 2: ⚖️ 132.0kg (+1.0kg) 👟 4,563 steps 🥕 4 serves 🍎 1 serve 🍽 Yes 🥞 Yes 🍫 Yes
Area for improvement tomorrow: Steps again, and freggies. It was a long, tiring week and I was exhausted last night, ended up with a migraine. I'd intended to make tacos for dinner but the mince took forever to defrost and it got too late, so eventually I just made a packet of mac & cheese for my son's dinner, and hubby & I had tomato on toast...not a great healthy meal.
Today's Little Victory: Usually I pack my food to take to work the night before, but I didn't this time. So, in a rush in the morning, it would have been so easy to pack myself a baked muesli bar for breakfast, but instead I packed a couple of boiled eggs I had in the fridge, a piece of bread to toast at work, and some cherry tomatoes - a much more filling breakfast that easily got me through the morning!

    September 3: ⚖️ 131.8kg (-0.2kg) 👟 3,293 steps 🥕 3 serves 🍎 1 serve 🍽 Yes 🥞 Yes 🍫 No

    September 4: ⚖️ 131.4kg (-0.4kg) 👟 5,054 steps 🥕 5 serves 🍎 1 serve 🍽 Yes 🥞 Yes 🍫 Yes

    September 5: ⚖️ 132.2kg (+0.8kg) 👟 5,662 steps 🥕 5 serves 🍎 2 serves 🍽 Yes 🥞 Yes 🍫 Yes
Area for improvement tomorrow: Continue getting more steps. Work should be slower so I can get away from my desk more often. Hopefully.
Today's Little Victory: Made nachos for dinner, and while I usually eat straight from the dish, this time I spooned out about a third of the dish into a container to take to work tomorrow for lunch. If I hadn't done that, I likely would have just eaten the whole thing and ended up feeling bloated after stuffing myself. This was a good choice, as I still felt full & satisfied after eating the portion I left myself, with the added bonus of something more interesting than a sandwich for lunch tomorrow!

    September 6: ⚖️ 132.1kg (-0.1kg) 👟 6,883 steps 🥕 5 serves 🍎 2 serves 🍽 Yes 🥞 Yes 🍫 Yes
Area for improvement tomorrow: Fewer snacks in the afternoon. While they are individually portioned, I find I'm eating too much of them when I'm not really hungry.
Today's Little Victory: Made spaghetti bolognese for dinner, which is already reasonably healthy because I make it from scratch (no jars of sauce). I replaced some of my pasta with steamed zucchini and served a smaller portion, and it was deliciously perfect!

    September 7: ⚖️ 131.3kg (-0.8kg) 👟 5,539 steps 🥕 4 serves 🍎 1 serve 🍽 Yes 🥞 Yes 🍫 Yes
Area for improvement tomorrow: Get more steps during the day so I'm not left stepping beside the bed to meet goal!
Today's Little Victory: Hubby brought home KFC for dinner (a very rare treat as the nearest KFC is 300km away!) and instead of gorging myself, I served a reasonable portion and ate that. I could always come back for seconds if I was still hungry, but I felt satisfied after that portion so there was no need for seconds!

    🌱Log honestly and consistently
🌱Eat at or under my calorie goal
    🌼 Weigh in each morning
🌼 Post each day under this challenge
    🌼 Continue weight lifting.
    🌼🌱🌱🌱🌱

    9/1/22- 175.2 lbs Here's to a better Autumn!
9/2/22- 179.4 lbs :-( How one day can be such a big jump, must be water retention. Only 45 minutes/3.41 miles on my Elliptical. It kept seizing up on me. Hadn't happened before till 2-3 hours in. Guess it's about dead! Checked out another store today with ellipticals. Looked at Octane and Spirit brands today. Previously looked at PreCor and Matrix. Any insight from any of you would be appreciated. The repair guy that had come out 10 days ago said they see many repair needs on Matrix and very early on, that they shouldn't. And long waits for parts on them.
    9/3/22- 176.4 lbs
9/4/22- 175 lbs 45 minutes on my elliptical while my roasted butternut squash was roasting. At a wedding today. Tried to be pretty careful and only take a taste of some of the items. Was a impromptu wedding, planned a couple weeks ago for a girl from work, who has been with her beau for 10 years. We all brought a side dish to share. It was very nice for going from a original zoom wedding a few weeks ago to this with a 5-10 minute discussion at a summer work party. As others have said, these things are hard to calculate calories. But I think I did fairly good other than the piece of cake. But you have to have some wedding cake!
9/5/22- 177.2 lbs :-( Stayed true to my plan today. Wanted something sweet so I grabbed a keto chocolate hazelnut cup to stay on point.
9/6/22- 176.2 lbs Still keeping on track. Did my Elliptical for 181 minutes/13.2 miles today. It hasn't bit the dust yet. Some squeaking but only occasionally. After a appointment at 3, I went out comparing different ellipticals. I need to get a new one sooner than later before it totally dies on me.

    9/7/22- 176.2 lbs

    About Me

My name is Ian and I am a 62 year old male from the Midlands of the UK. I am 6' 0" tall. I have a number of health conditions which prevent me from doing aerobic exercise and I take medication which as a side effect lowers my metabolic rate and increases my feelings of hunger. I can't walk so use a mobility scooter. As a result my weight loss depends totally on calorie intake reduction.

    My Goals

My initial target is 100kg by the end of October, to move from obese to simply overweight. I would like to get my waist size below 40" too. My calorie intake target to achieve that is 1,200 - 1,300 calories/day.

For September my goal is 101.8kg, a loss of 1.8kg (0.45kg or 1 lb/week), and a waist size of 42.5"

    Today's update:

    31/8:103.6kg. Calories 1206. Body Fat 33.7%
    1/9: 103.6kg. Calories 1310. Body Fat 34.2% Waist size 43.5”
    2/9: 103.0kg. Calories 1250. Body Fat 34.2%
    3/9: 103.1kg Calories 2078 Body Fat 34.2%
4/9: Calories DNR Calories 2204 Body Fat DNR
    5/9: 103.7kg Calories 1810 Body Fat 32.4%
    6/9: 103.7kg Calories 1210 Body Fat 34.4%
    7/9: 103.7kg. Calories 1154 Body Fat 34.4%
    8/9: 103.5kg. Calories 2307 Body Fat 34.2%

Hijacked by a friend’s gift of 12 mini bars of chocolate yesterday evening. I only ate nine of them 😛! I am about a week behind where I need to be to achieve my end of month goal, so some drastic action required. I’m going to fast from breakfast this morning to breakfast tomorrow morning and then repeat in a few days time to try to get my average calories down. I am 3,600 calories ahead of my target so I’ll need four fasting days over the next three weeks to bring me into line.

My September goals are to get more movement in on workdays-this is severely lacking and to be more mindful of self care.

    OSW: 250
    UGW: 150 ish
    9/30 GW: 208
    December 2022 GW: Onederland
    CW: 213.1

    9/1: 213.1
    9/2: 213.8
9/3: 213.8 In the middle of August I dropped 4 pounds in 10 days. I’ve been this weight since 8/19. It’s frustrating but I know what the culprits are, not enough movement and too much stress. I’m trying to work on these this weekend.
    9/4: 213.1
    9/5: 212.6 Hello!
9/6: 214.9 Yowch! In some serious pain, helping my parents pack and move all weekend has finally caught up with me. I am not in my 20s anymore!
    9/7: 213.9 Ups and downs
9/8: 213.4 Bad sleep last night, lots of stress, feel like I will never get away from 213!

09/08-197.6-(Trend Weight 198.6)- Up from travel and lack of movement. I actually did very well during the travel meal. I even stopped at a roadside park and walked for about 15 minutes on a walking path around a creek after eating very reasonable choices in very nice controlled quantities. There is still so much sitting in the car, though, when traveling. Also, I ate 3 meals yesterday instead of two, nonetheless. It still put me over calorie and carb limits. Travel again tomorrow. Much further this time to see the surgeon.

    September 8: ⚖️ 131.6kg (+0.3kg) 👟 4,632 steps 🥕 3 serves 🍎 1 serve 🍽 Yes 🥞 Yes 🍫 Yes
Area for Improvement Tomorrow: Be more active through the day! Step count slipping.
Today's Little Victory: Allowed myself to eat without restrictions. It's something I'm working on, that restrictive mindset. As soon as I started eating, I'd be thinking about how many calories etc and I managed to stop those thoughts as they are not helpful.

Sep 8 - 167 (Up and on the road again this afternoon. Almost in Vancouver. Tonight is the Bills home opener so we are going to go out to watch the game.)

Current weight: 176.2 lbs (Lowest recent weight was 147.6 lbs on 4/6 & 4/7)
    September wt loss- +1 lb

    Daily Goals:
    🌱Drink @ least 90 ounces of water
🌱Plan meals and log in advance

9/8/22- 176.2 lbs :-( Was hoping for some movement. Stayed on plan, no cheating.

4/9: Weight DNR [color-red]Calories 2204[/color] Body Fat DNR
    5/9: 103.7kg Calories 1810 Body Fat 32.4%
    6/9: 103.7kg Calories 1210 Body Fat 34.4%
    7/9: 103.7kg. Calories 1154 Body Fat 34.4%
    8/9: 103.5kg. Calories 2307 Body Fat 34.2%
    9/9: 103.1kg. Calories 613 Body Fat 34.9%

Mini fast yesterday - consumed only 613 calories. Back to where I was a week ago. Still an extra 3,100 calories to claw back.

    8th: 163 worked 4 hr pm shift; calories <1500.
    9th: 163.4 Focus: <15 WW pts; 1000 Cal’s.

9/8/22- 176.2 lbs :-( Was hoping for some movement. Stayed on plan, no cheating.

9/9/22- 174.6 lbs :-) Finally!!! Downward movement helps me stay motivated & on track. Off today, did 181 minutes for 12.5 miles on my Elliptical.

9/9: DNW When I remembered the day was already half over. I’m really struggling with stress and my health has taken a back burner. I don’t like this
