    10/4 / 172 / Started the day with an early work issue. On my way to the office now. Will walk at lunch and then my dog will need to go out after work so that will likely be my exercise for the day.
    10/5 / 172.8 / Ate lots of salad yesterday, got over 14K steps, and rode the Peloton.
    10/6 / 171.8 / On our way to Ontario to visit my MIL for Canadian Thanksgiving. Got lots of steps around the airport.
    10/7 / 170.2 / Yesterday was a later night getting into Toronto so my meal timing is a bit off. Just had a good hotel breakfast. Today we drive north to my MIL's town but not without a few stops first.

    10/10 / 169.8 / On the flight back home after our weekend visit with my MIL. We had a great time. Fairly sedentary but the purpose was to spend time with his mom. Thankful for the trip.

    10/4 213.6 Happy new round! I got three free weeks of Hello Fresh so we’re having our first meal from them tonight. Even their low-calorie meals run higher than I usually have for dinner, so I’m having to plan around it. But meals are planned and logged.
    10/5 213.6 @ashleycarole86, you were right about the Hello Fresh meal – it was delicious! Beginning rehearsals tonight for our Christmas cantata at church. I used to sing but haven’t in a long time, so I’m looking forward to getting back into it. Meals are planned and logged.
    10/6 213.6 Nothing really new here. Lots of work to get done in the next two weeks before vacation, so just trying to stay on plan.
    10/7 213.8 Happy Friday! I’m headed to my 40th high school reunion this weekend, which should be interesting. Hoping to keep on plan or at least plan-adjacent as much as possible.

    10/10 213.8 I’m pretty happy that I maintained over this weekend! Had a great time and saw lots of people I haven’t seen in years. Now back on plan for two weeks until vacation. Meals for today are planned.
    10/11 213.2 I am so ready for vacation but still have so much to do before it’s here! This is the time when I try to use up food we already have rather than buy more so as to clean out the refrigerator, so I hope I can stay on plan pretty easily.
    10/12 212.8 Well, when it rains, it pours. My 98-yo MIL got home yesterday from rehab after breaking her hip but had not even been home for an hour when she fell again and dislocated the hip that had just been replaced. Still waiting to find out what the doctors recommend. @CamandJarvis, I hope you get to see your grandpa soon.

    @Machias1949 What “diet” are you following. I do intermittent fasting and saw an interesting video of why your LDL “goes up” when you fast a longer period.

    I would not say I am on a "diet" per say. My cholesterol has been running at 250 and most of that is bad cholesterol. I CAN NOT take statins. Because my Heart is doing very well (thankfully) and I have no calcium deposits in my heart nor are there any problems with my veins. For 73 they say I am in great shape HOWEVER therefore I am not eligible for the expensive Statin alternative medicine. -My doctor thinks if I try to keep my daily intake of foods high in cholesterol down, exercise, and take 2,000 mcg of Vitamin B-9 my numbers will go down, so I have been doing that for the last 3 months. I do not think that will help. But I did the blood test today so we will see. Sorry for the long explanation. PS I do not fast

    2.6 pounds of holiday weight gain gone, 1.4 to go, that is my goal for this round. Resting heart rate down to 50, that's an improvement too as that is directly linked to my weight. No binges, keep within calories & macros.
    Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, It's took me 75 rounds to achieve my under 130 target; back to maintenance again!! But then I crept up again, so need to get back under 130. Healthy life style has to be a permanent way of life.
