I'm in. I started my weight loss journey a year ago, topping out the Scale at over 360 lbs. I'm currently at 255, almost to my first goal of 250. 200 is my long term goal.

Welcome Matthew! You’re well on your way! Glad to have you here!!

I really, really need to watch what foods I bring into the house. We went to a fundraising banquet/auction on Saturday. We ended up winning (translation"buying") a wagon full of booze, which came with some nuts and Pringles, and a pecan pie (separate item). Sunday, I was fine. My husband is home on Sundays. I ate differently, but I was still in my calorie range. Until he went to bed before me, that is. And then again while he was at work on Monday. I ate so much that I actually threw up in the evening, a few times. I believe the technical term for this is "rock bottom"; I thought I was pretty low, but apparently, I could go lower! People in my real life think I just had a little bug (even my husband). It is only through the anonymity of the internet that I can confess what really happened! And just so you know, I am not a big drinker at all. The alcohol is not my problem! We have no idea what we are going to do with all that booze. We are going to bring some of the wine and the coolers to Easter dinner this Saturday, for starters.

Tuesday I ended up going to work in the afternoon to stuff some customer statements and do some filing. I didn't eat anything until 5 pm, and stayed well within my range.

Today, it was supposed to be raining when I got up and it was supposed to rain all day. It wasn't (and isn't!) so I actually went for a two mile walk before I even had my first coffee!! There is nowhere to go but up from rock bottom!!

    Last Wednesday, I think I weighed 211. Today I weighed in at 207.4 :)

    Hi.
    I’m Andi.
I have Binge-Eating Disorder, and I can relate to eating to the point of vomiting. I did it for years. I would regularly eat so much I would put myself in what I called a “food coma.” So full I was nauseous and unable to do more than sleep for days at a time.

I also need to be careful with what treats I bring into the house. If I don’t think I’m in the right head space to portion snacks to one or two at a time, they don’t go into my cart.

Please feel free to friend me here if you need a buddy.😊

Two good days in a row! I stepped on the scale this morning (usually only weigh once or twice a week) and it was 206.something. I forget exactly now, as it wasn't "weigh-in day", but it was in the 6's!!

    Friday, April 7th

    Logged and Under: Yes
Exercise: Yes, went for a walk with my husband and then did some raking up of leaves that had been under the snow and in flower beds.
    Water: 10 cups
    Steps: 16,746

I am sore this morning, but I knew I would be the second I picked up that rake! Today we are going to my in-laws' for Easter dinner. They are having it catered so I do not have to prepare any food to take, which is nice. We are bringing a selection of wines and coolers from our booze wagon instead :) My strategy is to eat very little before we go, and then have a small serving of only the best offerings. (I have no idea what is on the menu!) We shall see if this pans out!

    This morning's weigh-in: 205.6!!

    Happy Easter!

Yesterday went well. I had very little to eat before going to my in-laws (my usual yogurt and berries for breakfast and then a piece of leftover fish from Friday). She did have jellybeans and chocolate Easter eggs and fudge on the table, but I didn't have any. The eggs were of the cheap chocolate variety, so not even a little tempted. The jelly beans didn't seem special enough to sample, and the fudge looked too sweet. (Monday night's episode involved pecan pie, so I can't go there right now, thank goodness). There were four main dishes and two salads; I had a spoonful of each and my plate was full. I did not go back for seconds. I did not have any cheese or pickles. For dessert I chose a really small slice of warm apple pie and a tiny gluten free brownie with lost of chocolate icing. Then I realized I was still hungry, so I had another small piece of pie and another tiny brownie. I didn't even have any of the alcohol I brought! We got home in time to see the last 8 rocks of the 10th end of the Canada/Switzerland curling match at the world championships. (Canada won!!!) I went to bed around 11, but couldn't fall asleep. My mind was whirring a bit (as it usually does after a visit with family) and I was hungry!! So, I got up and had some leftover rice from Friday and went back to bed around midnight. The scale was the same this morning as yesterday morning :)
