    2) None of DH's stash today (including candy, peeps, ice cream, Trader Jo cookies).✔️
    3) No peanut butter today, 2.5 to 3 T (last 8/23)✔️
    4) Don't weigh again until Monday, 8/28✔️
    5) Up to 2.0 oz hard cheese today (trying not to have cheese everyday) (last 8/25). Note: some grated parmigiana cheese has always been allowed and doesn't count towards hard cheese. Hard cheese at restaurant ok. Can have cheese with restaurant meals.✔️
    6) No honey today(1-3 Tbsp.). (last) (a little in honey mustard ok)(last 7/17)✔️
    7) Nuts ok (22-30 g) or 12-14 in-the-shell nuts. Some of fruit stand mixed nuts ok.✔️

    JFT Tuesday - no treats after dinner!
    1. Sleep in; it's supposed to storm.
    2. Work on papers for ESOL. Attendance and grade check-in during homeroom.
    3. In class: Return independent reading forms. Grammar lesson: conjunctive adverbs. Practice with NRI.
    4. Planning - Enter grades. Meet with Ss with significant behavior markers. Mark which caregivers have replied to emails and which have been sent but not replied to. Send welcome email to caregivers with email in system. Call caregivers RE absences.
    5. Choose texts for benchmark; begin building exam. Craft booklets for gift. WHERE ARE MY PENS?
    6. Check in with union members. How did we develop "an army of subs" before???
    7. Create sheets with members names & contact info - including room locations!
    8. Evening: Library reading. Dinner: Soup. Drink more water. No, more. Keep the pitcher in the fridge full. You're not actually hungry. Make some tea. Drink more water!

I do somewhat trust that they are capable of deciding when they need assisted living but should probably offer help in finding out what sort of place would be best BEFORE it actually becomes necessary.

    14. Just for fun: Start sketching dragon on a pile of books, offering one to the armored knight, & banner that reads "Treasure should not be hoarded / It should be shared." Use AI for ideas.

    Yesterday was a pretty good day. I still had a snack after work, but I didn't binge. That's a win lately. Really didn't want to do my training walk, mostly because it's supposed to be running but I can't run. It just hurts my knees to bad at this weight. Yeah, I know, patience. I think my new coach thinks I'm more fit than I am, but I've tried to explain it. He had a goal pace of 10:26 min/mile written on the training, but I can't run so it was more like 16:26 min/mile. That is really discouraging. On a flat I might be able to do 15 min/mile, but still that is like my max walking speed. I'm starting to work on diet, but y'all know it is a slow process. Today is a bike workout, those are less stressful. I'm still slower than I'd like, but not so far out of the range he expects.

    Today will be a late day at work followed by an easy-ish bike ride. It will still be hard for me, because I'm struggling to focus for a full 40 minute effort, but it's ok. After that it will be home to do laundry. This is a change for me as hubby asked if I wanted to go to trivia with he and his work friends. Y'all know I do, but my focus is on training and that is counter productive. I have one day a week set aside for going out and that is Wednesday night trivia. It's my favorite place to play and hang out. I don't want to cut all of my fun out or I'll never stick to this, but I am ok with 1 day a week instead of 2 or 3.

    Yesterday was a good but tiring day. Work was long, but had big lulls in activities so it was somewhat boring. I got home later than usual, and wasn't sure I'd have enough daylight to ride, but I decided to go anyway. Glad I did. I had a good ride, and the light held out. I stayed pretty focused throughout and only stopped at the tur around to get a drink and then got back to business. I was wiped out when I got home. This body isn't used to training yet. It will adjust.

    Today is another slow day at work. I may hang in the control room today and learn a little about the operators jobs. This evening is my training rest day and trivia at the local dive bar. I love our little dive bar. We get a great very smart crowd on Wednesday evenings. I've tried most of the trivia places in town and this is by far the most competitive and most fun. Plus there is a pool table if I want to stay late. No late night tonight though. Actually, with my new job there are no more late Wednesdays because I have early staff meetings on Thursdays. Probably for the best anyway.

I do somewhat trust that they are capable of deciding when they need assisted living but should probably offer help in finding out what sort of place would be best BEFORE it actually becomes necessary.

    14. Just for fun: Start sketching dragon on a pile of books, offering one to the armored knight, & banner that reads "Treasure should not be hoarded / It should be shared." Use AI for ideas.

    Rainy, windy day thanks to the remnants of the hurricane, so I’ll have to stick with indoor exercises today. So many medical expenses and insurance headaches this month. Hopefully next month will be better.

    Still can’t find a new job. And since I opened up to my supervisor about how stressed I was feeling it has led to a whole lot of awkwardness. Like one of the program managers calling me and telling me “I know you don’t like to give up a lot of work but you can’t be afraid to ask for help.” Right, this is all my fault. It’s not you piling more work on me than one person can possibly do. Hopefully that gets better next month too.

    Yesterday's training "run" didn't get done so I will need to do it today to stay on schedule. I was just too daggon tired. I forgot to take my morning meds and that is disastrous for my energy levels. Instead of exercise and laundry I took a 3 hour nap, woke up for 2 hours then went to bed. Hubby wanted me to go out for Mexican food with him, I told him just to bring home some chips and queso. Not the best dinner, but I really just wanted a snack. I was over in calories yesterday, but not too bad all things considered. Today should be better.

    Plan for today is work half a day at work, and half day from home. Do my walk/run at lunch, then shower and finish my day. We are signing our home improvement loan papers today, so that's exciting. One step closer to my new kitchen & bathroom. After that I'm driving to see my cousin who I haven't seen for 18 years. She and I were like sisters growing up. I was a mean kid, so I tortured her as she was younger and whiny, but I loved her like a sister. She lives 7 hours away and rarely makes it back "home". "Home" is only about an hour and a half from where I live, so it's an easy drive. I'm very excited to see her and finally meet her fiancé/husband. They never got married, but they've been engaged and living together for 15 years. I think that counts!
