I did much better with water yesterday and I slept a little better last night. My stomach is causing me discomfort this morning though.
Part of the elimination diet I’m on is to slowly eat larger and larger amounts of trigger foods to see what your tolerance level is. Apparently one granola bar a day for three days in a row is more than I can handle. At least I’m figuring things out even if it temporarily puts me in pain.
That must be a nightmare. Sorry you have to go through this to figure out what's causing the problems. I hope they find out what's going on soon!1 -

I do somewhat trust that they are capable of deciding when they need assisted living but should probably offer help in finding out what sort of place would be best BEFORE it actually becomes necessary.

Taking a break from logging/calorie limit while on a short trip with my daughter and grandsons. I could make healthier choices than I did today, but the ice cream was calling and it is vacation. Well, at least I'll get plenty of exercise.

It's wild and wet today, looks like an indoor day!
I was way off yesterday, way over at 1600 calories even before I had some crisps and a glass of non alcoholic wine in the evening. Just felt very unsettled all day and wanted to eat. It's not even as though I have a reason for feeling unsettled, both sons have problems to deal with, but they are adults and need to make their own choices, I do not need to be involved. I guess because I see and hear what is going on in their lives I'm still affected by it.
That was coupled with a wet day so I couldn't get out in the garden. There was a short period of dry weather in the afternoon and I thought I'd take the dog out, but my son had gone off with her harness and lead in his car. So ball throwing in the garden instead. I have so much to do inside the house, but I don't want to do any of it. I don't do well with extra "stuff" lying about the house, and there's quite a lot just now, still bits from my deceased parents, and quite a bit from my business which I'm selling. Sometimes I feel like throwing the whole lot in the bin and having nice empty cupboards, but I wasn't brought up to waste things. Another car boot load should go to charity next week. I also struggle with "it might come in handy one day", I have to let go!
I'll attempt to log today, but not sure if there will be any eating out. i'm going out with my sister-in-law this afternoon, weather is very iffy but fingers crossed we don't get wet.

I didn't do too badly considering I was out with my sister-in-law (she is much taller than me and very active so can eat a lot more). I limited it to a scone and refused the cake. Later she bought ice creams for us both. I wasn't going to have anything in the evening, but son asked for help again, and when I got home for the second time (unsettled again!) I decided to have toast. Just sat down to eat it, and son, grandson and dog arrived in my house again. By then I was desperate for some quiet time! I've realised that although I like spending time with friends and family, I also need some alone time to recover. I need to learn to not eat when it gets too much. More willpower needed!
I won't be logging today as grandson is here, but will be mindful with food.

Biggest priority today is figuring out this medical billing issue. The first statement they sent me was messed up; they fixed it and sent me another one. I paid it, now they sent me a THIRD bill for the amount that I paid plus an extra $400 tacked onto it. So I don’t know how much I owe or why.

Some of my food log is an estimate - did a lot of grazing in the afternoon and didn’t pay attention to exactly how much I was eating. I wasn’t hungry at all, I was just comfort eating. Didn’t reintroduce the yogurt like my nutritionist wanted me to. I found out I have to go into the office tomorrow so I didn’t want to risk it.
I’m so tired and it’s been throwing me so out of whack. Woke up at 3:45 this morning thanks to noisy neighbors blasting their car stereo and I’m really hoping that doesn’t happen again tonight.1 -
Do you guys find it overwhelming to set too many goals etc for one day? I feel like I can focus on one or two things, and everything else is secondary. Like today I had to work and I was low energy so I didn't know if I could handle anything else. Ideally I would make a list of like 20 things but I would only be able to do all of them like 30% of the time. Sometimes I get too overwhelmed to even make a list.1

I have the same goals daily, I’m trying to make them habits again.
Once I get those down I’ll add more water, and a calorie limit.
I used to have 6-7 goals I want to get back to that.

We're all different. I try to list all of my "have to do" things, and maybe one stretch goal. If I list to many maybe things it gets overwhelming and sometimes discouraging. Good luck!1 -
Tomorrow is a big day. Moving the youngest into her dorm. Tonight we pack, and if I can swing it I really need a pedicure. After we move her in we are driving to Charlotte, then on to Sumpter SC early Thursday and home Thursday night. Or at least part way home depending on how late it is and how tired we are. Friday is a vacation day at home, maybe I'll hit the trails either on foot or on the bike. Saturday I teach spin and then prep food for Sunday. Manageably busy week. Glad I took Friday off, wish I could also take Monday, but there are too many "important" meetings.
