@refactored I don’t know how old your kids are but what I did when I joined WW in 1985 (kids were 12 and 14 but could have done this younger) was to have the girls take their plates to the sink and run water over them. It made the food inedible and it needed to go down the disposal not down Mom!

@CamandJarvis Eating salad before it goes bad!! That’s my problem. DH seldom eats salad at home so how does 1 person eat the 3 heads of romaine that come in a package? I make wrapped “subs” and salads for my OMAD but it’s never enough!

@musicsax Your throat sounds like my DH’s a few weeks ago. He couldn’t swallow for a couple of days because it felt like knives. Doctor gave him steroids and antibiotics since all tests were negative - strep, flu, COVID.

    My name is Tish.
    Age: 66
    Height: 5'7.5"
    USW: 260
    2023 Start Wgt:Don't know (Jan 1)
    CW: 211.7
    RG: Increase protein and water

    ▪︎Day1▪Su Jan 22- ¤DNW

    (Su•84g Prot; 64ozs water)

    ▪Day3▪Tu •Jan 24- ¤211.7

Been eating OMAD or 2 meals a day. Mostly too high in calories because of bread or potatoes.
    (Mo• 52g Prot; 64ozs water)

    ▪Day4▪We•Jan 25- ¤

    (Tu• g Prot; ozs water)

    ▪︎Day4▪We•Jan 25- ¤

2 meals. My lower body is so weak. I lost so much muscle when I was sick 2021/2022. I walk as much as my knee will allow and that is not going for an actual walk. I'm working on adding back some strength training. Twenty to 30 glute kickbacks throughout the day with calf raises. More exercises as I get stronger.
Thinking about a 24hr water fast.

    @Kayjay1960

“But there’s def some convincing research to suggest that eating more fresh, unprocessed foods can have a positive impact on your overall health and wellness. These include:

    fresh fruits and veggies
nuts like walnuts, pistachios, or almonds
meat like chicken or beef (not deli meat, hotdogs, etc.)
    seafood like salmon
beans like black beans or chickpeas
    eggs
    herbs and spices
The “unprocessed food diet” can vary widely depending on who you ask, but it also typically means skipping things like packaged cookies, crackers, and fast food.

Still, processing WTF “unprocessed” means? Understandable. Here’s the deal.”
