I thought this might be fun! I find these sorts of things to be both motivating and comforting, and I like reading them as much as I like writing my own! Feel free to include your food and workouts, but other stuff is interesting too! I love seeing how other people spend their days. Here's mine, for today. You don't have to follow the same structure if you don't want to, but some people might find it helpful!
17/02
0530: Wake up, my phone turned off in the night, so I didn't have an alarm, but a combination of my body clock and two hungry cats saved me. For breakfast, I made two cups of black coffee, a silken tofu scramble and two pieces of rye toast, topped with homemade chilli crisp, which I put on almost everything.
0630-0800: Showered, did my makeup and got dressed, did a little housecleaning and listened to a bit of my current audiobook, 'The Hollow Places' by T.Kingfisher. Great read for any fellow Gothic horror fans out there!
0800-1530: Took the bus in to work for a 9am start. On weekends, I tutor high school English students in groups. The groups are back to back, so I ate my snack (hummus, carrots and vegan ham) and my lunch (wholemeal noodles with shredded tofu, carrots, mushrooms and bok choy topped with more chilli crisp). My workday was a bit longer than usual because I'm covering my bosses groups too, which was hectic, but the day went fast!
1530-1630: Stopped by the shops to get some things for dinner, while I was there I grabbed a protein bar for my afternoon snack and a can of Coke no sugar. I think they're phasing out Diet Coke where I live, which is sad because I think it is the superior no sugar option.
1700- Got home and decompressed by scrolling Tik Tok for a bit. Ate a sachet of my favourite spicy marinated wakame. It is the GOAT of low calorie snacks IMO
1800- Put my audiobook back on (I'm almost finished with it, and I think I'll need to get some more of her books when I am done because she's really great.) Cooked dinner while I listened and did some laundry and tidying.
1900- Sat down to eat dinner- San Choy Bau made with TVP, mushrooms, beansprouts, carrots and rice vermicelli (plus more chilli crisp!). Watched 'Nope' while we ate. It's as good as everyone says it is.
2100- Took a quick shower and settled into bed with my current physical book- "Rushing to Paradise" by JG Ballard. I'm not sure how I feel about this one. The story is decent and the prose is very good in parts, but I don't think I'll know exactly how I feel about this one until I finish it. Lights out by ten and ready for another full day tomorrow!

5:06am sit on couch to take blood pressure
5:08am play Wordle and Canuckle
5:10-6:00 NYT and AppleNews
6:00 start 30 - 50 min HIIT, core, strength, Pilates from Apple Fitness+ or some combination of them
7:00am assemble, weigh out, and log food for the day
7:30am shower and dress
8:00am leave for work (middle years teacher)
10:30am break the 16/8 intermittent fast usually with yogurt and berries
11:50am lunch - usually leftovers from day before. If I have lunch supervision, I’ll log it as an outdoor walk and get some movement time in.
12:50pm afternoon session starts. Probably a little snack (nuts, or a flavoured tinned tuna.
3:40pm head home - or grocery shop then head home.
4:30pm start making supper. Chicken or pork loin and roasted veggies probably
5:00pm weigh out and eat supper
5:30pm treadmill time (have the ambitious goal of running a half marathon in June, so following a Nike Running Club 14 week training plan. Otherwise do more HIIT, or just a 5k open run on the treadmill.
7:00pm cool down, shower, read, television maybe, set the coffee maker for 4:55am
8:30 blood pressure, weigh in, check Apple Watch for biostats (I love data) look for trends, congratulate myself for accomplishments to date (haha)
