This go round I am focusing on increasing my weights for strength training and progressive overload at the gym. I need to jump start my metabolism by adding more muscle.
@200Karen- I've heard good things about the Caroline Girvan workout programs. Have done any of them?

While I may not lose 15# in 3 months, I do have an end-of-August goal so this Challenge will be very helpful.
Hi,
I’m Amanda, almost 50, wicked short 4’11” from New England.
My 1st goal is for mid-June (trip to LA/Vegas) to lose the covid weight,
2nd goal for end-August.
Appreciate all your support.
- Pre-plan meals for the day
- Daily movement
- No Late Night Snacking
5/1 weight = 122.6
6/12 GW = 116
8/30 GW = 112
Working on getting back to doing 1 pull-up (max was 8 pull-ups).
It's close, I know it's coming!

I am a 5'3" retiree living in upstate NY.
I started tracking again with MFP in January 2022.
My final goal weight is between 135-145.
Starting weight as of 1/3/22: 230 lbs
Apr 28: 159.6
May 5: 158.2
Challenge Goal: 7 lbs (152.6)
Challenge Actual: 1.4 (158.2)
When I stepped on the scale this morning for my weekly weigh-in and was very surprised to have lost 1.4 lbs. I didn't expect to lose that much since I had lost a full pound last week and lately it's been taking about a month for me to lose 2.5 lbs. In addition we went out for BBQ on Monday in rememberance of my late son's birthday, though I did manage to stay within my calories for the day.
Plugged my new weight into MFP this morning and it told me I'm 75% of the way to goal. Woo hoo!
Have a great week everyone!

Really happy with my progress so far! I’m just at the early weeks of changing my diet and trying to be more active, and I know it will slow down, but for now pretty happy. 😊
As someone who’s been on the weight loss train many times, I know how easy it will be for me to lose focus, or be overwhelmed by the big goals. I am trying to focus on consistency rather than a target weight. So I’ve decided I will set myself a goal and a reward of being consistent for X days. Haven’t figured out the details yet though!
Have a great weekend everyone.8 -

May Goals: Last week:
lots of water: yes
daily movement of some kind: not daily
daily meditation: yes
daily stretch: not daily but most
I'm disappointed that my weight is the same. But I did eat more than I had been plus Haagan -Daz was on sale and I had too much ice cream. I won't let it throw me off track and will make better choices today.
