Welcome! It might help if you give some details about your goals and situation?

For example about me: woman, 40 years old, started out nearly 4 years ago as entirely sedentary and obese, lost 75lbs using MFP (slow and steady, over a few years) and am now way more active (running is now my favorite exercise, strength training occasionally, walking/hiking when on holiday). Regained about 5 lbs so now trying to edge down again gently.

I have a tip about tips, if that would help?

Take a look in the "Most Helpful Posts" sub-heading in most of the topic areas of the Community, starting with those in Getting Started and Health and Weight Loss. Direct links to those here:

Those are posts by regular MFP users that other MFP users liked so much that they nominated them to stick around for long-term reference, rather than rolling off into history. IME, there's gold in those posts!

There are quite a few of them, so chip away as you have time, reading those that seem most applicable to you. I found them very helpful when I was starting out on MFP, and still get some good stuff from them now (in year 7 of maintenance, after 30 years of previous overweight/obesity).

    Best wishes!
