    I've got Avon and Fantasy Football.

    I started buying some Avon stuff from a coworker and can look at her website, and I'm on two Fantasy Football teams. Football!!

    I have ads for plus sized women's clothing.

    Explain THAT one? At what point did I search for plus sized women's clothing? (Hint: I didn't). I've never even looked up plus sized clothing. Or women's clothing. Yet there on the side is an ad for "Zulily's" advertising clothes for big women.

    LOL It doesn't have to be women's clothing... or plus sized clothing that you looked up. Could just be clothing. They use key words, not exact stores. So, the OP could have searched for Burger King, or burgers, and get an ad for McDonald's now. :wink:

    I have ads for fresh direct, nature box, Platoon fitness, etc. I also had a random one for Pillsbury cinnamon buns, which mirrors nothing on my browser history, but for the most part, the ads are directly geared towards what you look at. Stop looking at fast food/ entering fast food calories in, and you'll stop getting fast food ads.

    There are programs you can download to block them if they really bother you that much. Mine are usually video games and technology ads, lol.

    Yeah it can be a little bothersome, but I don't mind it all that much. I'd rather there be ads than a fee, since if there were a fee I'd deactivate my account in a heartbeat. I'm used to the ads since honestly any website you go on these days has them- Facebook, twitter, youtube- you name it- they all have ridiculous ads! Supposedly they come up based on what you've searched and websites you've been to on the internet previously. I was planning a vacation recently so my ads are all for hotels and visiting Florida etc.

    I have Ricki's ads (women's clothing store) and Air Canada both of which I have searched here! I also get lots of dog food and weight loss ads.

    It's through Google AdWords...I should make a guide on it, because there are MANY reasons why you are seeing the ads that you see, and they don't all have to do with your search history.

    Perhaps you have something like AdBlock Plus? Ads would still show up even if you were browsing anonymously - they would just be focused on the content of the page rather than your browsing habits.
