Highest Weight

I’m currently at the highest weight I’ve ever been in my entire life. It feels crappy. I told myself over the years I would never let myself get to 300. And here I am over 300 at 329lbs. I used to joke with my ex about if I ever get to 300 he should just shoot me. Looking back, that’s the worst coping humor I’ve ever used. I’m trying. I have no more excuses to give. I have all the knowledge I need, and if I don’t know something the answer is at the tips of my fingers. Perfectly within reach.
I need to do this more for myself than ever. It feels like the heaviest weight on my shoulders that I just can’t shake. But no matter how I got here or why I got here, I am doing something about it. I won’t sit by and just let it keep getting heavier.

    Stick with MFP.

A great thing you can do is log back in tomorrow and write, then the next day, etc. I appreciate the fire you're bringing

I used to tell my ex the same thing….sadly! But the good news is that we are now doing something about it! I seriously started with MFP about 2 1/2 months ago, and have found lots of support. I tend to be an “all or nothing” kind of person, but I’m learning to just stick with it and log all my food. No matter what I ate. I encourage you to join me logging food daily, just to start. Also to check out some of the threads of over 100 lbs to lose-there are some inspiring and motivating stories. We CAN do this! It will just take a little time. Hugs to you
