Not Enough Nutrition?

Some days I do find myself not eating as much as I probably should, and by using the myfitnesspal to track my calories they finally let me know that yesterday. Yesterday I was off work. We had a lot of errands to run and got busy. I ate like one meal the entire day and that was it. Granted that one meal consisted of just pretty much a large grilled chicken salad and a water. Then I got distracted again. So I noticed on days when I'mon the go, even when I do have prepped lunches I can eat from I still don't find the time to eat them.
I'm in the process of working on my mindset towards food. I struggle with overeating and undereating, which I guess some can equate to binge eating. I just don't think mine is as serious as that. Luckily, by having prepped my meals for last weeks lunches I was happy because it took all the guess work out of me packing my lunches for work.
I guess my question for you guys is, how do you create more structure in your days for eating outside of work? Or even for work days?

There's no magic to it... you just decide it matters and take the time, and you just do it. It does worry me that in your one meal yesterday, you chose to have a salad. I know it seems like a healthy choice, but it's not nearly enough calories in that context. Great work being prepared and packing your lunches. Just make sure you plan for a real dinner. I look up simple, easy to cook things and make sure I have the stuff on hand I'll need.

Phone alarms. I have reminders set to check in and see if I’m hungry. I take meds for ADHD that blunt my appetite, so if I don’t have some kind of external “nudge” I’ll put off eating until I’m cold and grumpy and my boss asks me if I’m sure I don’t want a snack or something 😝

To create more structure, practice creating more structure

    Use discipline to establish habits.

I realize that while the concept is simple, implementation may not be. However, once it becomes a habit, it is second nature.

I don't know how I managed before phone alarms. Well, I did use (dumb) watch alarms, but they're not nearly as useful and much harder to set. Before that I guess I used post-its.
