    It's very important that I am here. For Round 233 my head needs to get back to the right place. Old bad habits returned for round 232 and we know where that can lead. See you tomorrow morning when I hopefully report that today included healthy actions.

    65 yrs young F, 5ft 4 Round 233 (my 163rd). Thank you @quiltingjaine for the new round, so grateful.
    Goal this round again is to get back under and stay under 138, I really don’t want to keep hovering around 140 pounds. Holiday is now in 21 days,3 weeks! I still need to crack on & lose a few more pounds, starting to get back into some holiday clothes, but can't let up: time is running out! So, 21 days, 2 rounds at a pound per week should get me better than I am, I’ve done it before so I can do it again if I knuckle down!! Really try to stay on track & do another complete round without binging. After all I am what I eat in more ways than one, my whole demeanour is totally different when I am happy with myself!!
    Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, it’s taken me 75 rounds to achieve my under 130 target; back to maintenance!! But then I crept up again, so need to get back to around 134. A healthy lifestyle must be a permanent way of life.

    8/19 140.6 – knew that was going to be up after last night’s Indian, it was delicious, but who knows how many calories or sodium!! I avoided a starter and a sweet, to be honest the main course was more than sufficient to satisfy me!! 8.63 miles walked. So that’s an increase of 1.4 pounds this round, will work hard to lose this and more next round.

    8/20 ✶ I’m thrilled to have found this challenge. This is not my first ‘rodeo’ so to speak, but to be quite honest the older I get the less motivated I get to try again. I know HOW to lose weight but I just haven’t figured up how to KEEP IT OFF. I’ll lose upwards of 20, 30 and even 50+ lbs with any gven attempt but then, all of a sudden, and for no apparent reason, I find myself going back to my old eating habits and sedentery lifestyle. Before I know it i’m right back to square one again. It’s depressing to stand on that scale after an extended hiatus only to see all of your hard work and accomplishments have reverted back to zero or worse yet, your even heavier than before. I am finding it especially hard this time to get myself motivated as my mind is not in a good place. I’ve starting thinking that perhaps I am doomed to be ‘morbidely obese’ (it’s in my DNA or something) and I should just give up the good fight...BUT I am quickly reminded of the general aches and pains, and that overall bloatness that I experience each day as a result of being almost 300 lbs and how much better I feel, both physically, and emotionally, when I have lost weight in the past. Reminding myself of that ‘feeling’ is really the only thing keeping me afloat these days.
    I’m hanging on for dear life. I need to myself out of this rut…
    10 days is just what I need to get my butt back on track!! ((HUGS))
