Taking control of my health

I’m Traci. I’m recently diagnosed with VERY HIGH cholesterol and Pre-Diabetes. Both parents suffered strokes, had cancer, and were basically couch potatoes. My mom now has dementia.

I don’t want to be them. It’s a bit late in the game to start learning how to properly care for myself (57y) but I want to be around for my sweet husband of 36 years, our two grown children and six grandchildren.

Let the journey begin!

    Hello, and welcome, Traci!

It's never too late, while we're still above ground, in my view. I became more active starting in my late 40s after actually having cancer, but stayed overweight/obese until I was 59-60. Then, finally, I lost from class 1 obese to a healthy weight, and have been at a healthy weight since. (I'm now 67.)

At 57, you're still at a good age to achieve amazing health benefits. As a bonus, you'll be a great example for the family members around you. Good stuff!

I'm cheering for you to succeed: The results are very much worth it, in improved quality of life!
