No food makes you lose weight however what you eat can have an impact on whether you'll be sucessful with weightloss or not. Minimize ultra processed foods like cookies, chips, etc and alcohol. Prioritize lean protein sources and leafy green veggies.
If you consistently take in fewer calories than you burn week after week you'll lose weight.0 -
There is no specific foods that help you lose weight. You can eat what you want, you just need to be in a reasonable calorie deficit, ( no more than 1-2 lb a week depending on how much you need to lose).0

The food that makes you lose weight is LESS of it. But you already know that.2

It's usually not the type of food overall but how many calories you're taking in versus your TDEE.
Eat less than your TDEE, you'll lose weight. Eat over it, you'll gain and eat up to it and you'll stay the same.

Fast weight loss is usually a bad plan - not sustainable long enough to lose a meaningful total amount of weight. That's why many people fail to lose, or regain once they lose.
Think about how to make weight loss relatively easy, rather than fast, so you can stick to the same tactics long term to reach then stay at a healthy weight permanently.
Eat foods you enjoy, that you personally find filling, that are within a sensible calorie goal. That'll work.
If you want to be healthy, not just skinny, get overall good nutrition and some exercise, besides.1 -
