Do you think it is ok to take a few days off when poorly? Trying to eat fruit and make sensible choices, but have a flu bug and just want toast/ chip cob

I think it's a very good idea to eat at maintenance, focusing on reasonable nutrition, when ill, recovering from illness, or healing from injury/surgery. Any form of healing requires calories and nutrients.
If you eat around estimated maintenance calories, it will just create a pause in weight loss, i.e., you'll reach goal weight a few days later than without that pause. To me, better recovery has been worth that delay.
(I have no idea what chip cob is. If it's low-nutrition, that wouldn't be my first choice.)0
