    I like daily weigh-ins, too. It really helped me learn about how my individual body juggles water retention up and down by even several pounds from one day to the next . . . while the multi-week trend tells me that I'm actually losing weight (or maintaining it) in accord with my goals.

    Absolutely do ask questions and participate here in the Community. You'll see some differences of opinion, and communication styles ranging from "tough love" to "warm'n'fuzzy sweetheart", but I truly believe the majority of people contribute out of a sincere wish to help others.

    I'm wishing you much success here on MFP, because the results are IME worth it!
