@pridesabtch - that would be terrifying getting that notification! Glad he wasn’t hurt.

    @more_freggies76 - that’s so scary!
    I’m with @Bex953172 - I’m so squeamish about eyes.

I’m going the wrong direction I had a very poor eating evening last night.

    Today should be better.

Wow, so much has happened in this group in the past 24 hours.

@pridesabtch So scary to receive that message! Glad Tim is not hurt worse, and hopefully the other driver will be ok.

@more_freggies76 Strobe flashes in your eye is not a good thing & I'm very glad you had it checked immediately. Praying your treatment takes care of things. I had similar flashes several years ago, and also had checked soon after. Fortunately for me, a tear hadn't happened but could, and specialists made me aware of things to watch for, and to contact them immediately if worsened. Never did, and ophthalmologist told me I now had chance of torn retina same as anyone with two eyes. When flashes later happened to my other eye, I knew enough to not completely panic and all has been well since.

@beachwalker99 Very cute leprechaun. I learned to knit and crochet many years ago, and used to do both often, but not so much now. I never heard of amigurumi before & had to look that up. When my niece was pregnant last year, I considered making a toy with that technique, but did not know its name. But my niece is big into crocheting, so I didn't. She even crocheted a blue blanket for their baby reveal to the grandparents-to-be.

Seems like I wanted to comment more, but didn't make notes...

    Recap 3/19 T
    1) Papa Murphy pizzas for supper (have to try them in new oven LOL) / log all food / no evening snack / 64+ oz. water  Did ok, didn't have as much pizza as I usually would (we tried a new one, I wasn't overly fond of). Ate some pistachios after choir, but a controlled portion LOL.
    2) Walk dog  3.75 mi and nearly attacked by two large dogs that ran off-leash down their long driveway and across the road to us. Think they were great dane and standard poodle. The owner was coming after them immediately, but my dog is reactive to that type of situation, esp. big dogs. No injuries but that's the 2nd time past this same house that a big dog came to check us out off-leash. I'll need to keep an eye on their garage door in future, and be careful if it's open (that's what happened before too). I don't care that they leave their dogs loose on their own property, but when the dogs leave that property to get to us, it can be a little scary not knowing how the dogs will or won't behave.
    3) Choir rehearsal 7:30 / wash glassware on top shelf of hutch ~ wow, didn't remember I had so much until I got everything out / other cleaning? / scrub & refill heated birdbath / refill bird feeders not done other day / finish meal planning & grocery list for tomorrow / read / digital declutter / other? TA=DA!

JFT 3/20 W ~ blustery winds & cold, so taking a rest day
    1) Soup supper: don't overdo, limit bread & dessert / log all food to best guess / 64+ oz. water
    2) Bread shop / grocery shop / wash place settings displayed in hutch / clean hutch glass doors / dust shelves / dust souvenirs in hutch / put all items back / read / digital declutter / other?
    3) Soup supper 5:30 / choir warm-up 6:45 / Lent service 7:00 / Amazing Race 8:30

Hour commitment - Don't have much food in my refrigerator and DH just offered me the "rest" of his cornbeef, so I'm going to have that to finish up my dinner. I had a bite of it at lunch and don't normally eat the same things, but this is the exception. It doesn't hurt that it's really good too!
Wasn't much left after all and I didn't want the fat.

Now I won't eat again until tomorrow.

Can't remember if your UK or USA (or elsewhere!) but in the UK we've just had a big ban on XL Bullys.

It's illegal to own one, sell one, breed one. Anyone who currently owns one has to have them registered. They have to be muzzled at all times when on walks and remain on their lead.
Any time I've seen on they've been rather placid though, but then you read in the news about maulings.

They've been put on the UK's list of Dangerous Dogs.

We have a nature park behind our house and people frequently have their dogs off lead. And dog walkers with about 8 dogs and they're like "oh don't worry all these dogs are fine" and I'm thinking "yeah but mine might not be?"

Biggies a bit unsure so you never know if he's gonna be okay or a bit grumpy with it.

@pridesabtch - What a frightening experience for both of you! Thank heavens your husband is okay. I'm glad you got to see Sierra after all. I'm sure it helped all of you feel better.

@more_freggies76 - It's a good thing you got prompt treatment for the tears in your retina. Hopefully you'll have no further issues.

@Bex953172 - Sounds like you had quite a workout! Good for you! I'm trying to motivate myself to get more exercise, but it's hard. Thanks for suggesting we do a challenge. I'm hoping that gives me an extra push to get going.

Thank you everyone who commented on my leprechaun. I'm enjoying making fun little things for family, and it's so much healthier than recreational baking!

    5# Challenge
    SW: 189.0
    3/20: 187.0
    3/21: 185.6

    JFT Wednesday
    - Weigh in

    - Protein bar for breakfast
    - Log Food

    - Pre-log dinner (Philly Cheesesteak Salad)
    - Limit 2 beers at trivia
    - Home by 10:30
    - Bed

Yesterday was an okay day, not much of an appetite, but I'm not complaining. Weight is dropping due to stress, but that rarely holds for long. My appetite will return then I'll likely gain it back. Or maybe I can use it as a springboard to more loss. Yeah, that's a better plan.

Went to trivia last night and actually won. It was fun as always on Wednesday evenings. I had pre-logged dinner, and I actually stuck to it. Miracles never cease. After trivia we went to Walmart and bought some wrapping paper for a baby shower this weekend, and some Easter candy to take with us to Pittsburgh this weekend when we see Sierra.

Had a 6:00am HR meeting this morning. I suck at mornings, but luckily I got home in time to shower last night. After the 2 hour HR meeting there was ELT, the Staff, the Media Training, all by 11:00am. You know what there were doughnuts at each meeting and I managed to not eat even a Timbit. Media Training was actually very informative. Taking a little time during lunch to check in here before the afternoon meetings begin. I usually go to mom's on Thursday, but I'm going over tomorrow morning instead. Taking her for blood work, breakfast, shopping and sorting bills.

No plans for this evening at this point.

    JFT Thursday
    - Up at 5:30
    - Weigh-in
    - Work by 6:00
    - Meetings
    - Lunch
    - Check-in
    - Log food
    - Stay Green
    - Afternoon meetings
    - Home by 4:30
    - No alcohol
    - Wrap gifts
    - Deliver gifts to SIL (I'll miss the baby shower Saturday)
    - No alcohol
    - Bed after the basketball games (we all know I'll fall asleep before then)

@pridesabtch - I hope your husband is ok. Give us an update when you can.

Other than being pissed that his relatively new car (15 month) that he loved was smashed he's doing really well. Thank you!

I have no idea why but I completely forgot to log yesterday!

But I was completely crippled by my sore leg muscles lol the stairs were particularly tricky.
Ash says we should do another workout today to keep the momentum. I'm gonna give it a go but maybe just do my arms, no legs!

    💗 Terri 💗

Working on getting back to the middle of my weight range.

3 lbs challenge: (weigh less on 24th March than I did on 17th)
    March 17: 137.8
    March 18: 138.1
March 19: 138.0 (going in the right direction)
    March 20: 137.9
    March 22: 137.6

💡Under my ceiling, but I need to make sure it doesn’t creep up any further.
💡More mindful on portions, and snacks today, Ate just a small portion of my exercise calories.
💡I was worried my weight might be up with water retention. I had a small fall on Wednesday. No real damage done, just very sore and my knees are a bit swollen.

    JFT Thursday 21st March

    THINK before I eat ✅️
    Log food ✅️
Stay in the green ❌️ 40 over
    No snacking ✅️
    PF exercises ✅️
    Back exercises ❌️
Be productive inside (raining again!) ✅️

Grandson is coming for his tea tonight, so I'll probably end up eating a bit more than usual. So no snacking today!

Rained all day but a good day inside. Ended up having to take grandson home and put him to bed. He is so much easier to look after now, no nappies and pushchair and having to carry him about. He's lovely to have about, still follows me everywhere "so I won't be alone" lol.

    JFT Friday 22nd

    THINK before I eat
    Log everything
    Stay in the green
    No snacking
    PF exercises
    Back exercises
    Continue clearing house
    Big shop ✅️

Well, the winter that never was isn't done yet. We got several inches of wet heavy snow overnight. Supposed to get another storm Sunday night into Monday. Still want to get things done around the house so next week isn't frenetic cleaning & cooking before family arrives for Easter dinner.
