Hello! I’m New

I’m 51, 2 weeks away from 52 and started on this app on Jan 3rd. I’m looking to lose 40 lbs. it’s not a New Years resolution since those haven’t worked for me. I’m committed to a lifestyle change. I’m currently starting on Keto and I’m really happy that there is a community here, where we can all support each other.

    You are wise to look at this as a lifestyle change rather than a "resolution." It will serve you well if you develop good habits to use indefinitely. Are you planning to be on keto forever, or is that just a temporary tool? If it's not permanent, what habits will you use after you are done on keto? What goals are you setting for yourself, and how will you achieve them? These are good questions to ask yourself.

    Hi,
    I have the same weight loss goal of 40lbs. Decided on Jan 1 to lock in and take a serious approach to making better nutritional choices. I am hesitant to share, but i am eating power bowls by healthy choice and I feel really good. My approach is high protein, low carb, low fat.
