Needing motivation

Hey there my fellow fitness pals. I am back again here starting for the i don't know which time trying to lose weight. However, this time is not like any other time. I am not feeling motivated at all. Sadly, I have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism but I am following a hormone medication for this condition. I am lacking any motivation to continue and I don't have any reason to start my weight loss journey, however the only thing I know is that I have to lose weight.

Welcome to the community!
You're in luck. Motivation won't get you far. It runs out.
You say that you don't have any reason to start your weight loss journey, yet you also say that the only thing you know is you have to lose weight. So, why do you have to lose weight? If you HAVE TO lose weight, that's a reason. The next logical step is setting goals. Goals should be specific and measurable. They should be challenging and also attainable. They should have deadlines. What goals are you setting for yourself?
As far as motivation goes, are you motivated to go to work each day? Do you go? Are you motivated to brush your teeth? Do you brush them? Those are habits. Fitness and weight management are the same. You have to develop habits.
There's lots of support here, but it's something only you can hold yourself accountable to. Maybe take some time to check out some of the "Most Helpful Posts" to get some ideas:- Most Helpful Posts - Getting Started (Must Reads)

Listen to that nice mtaratoot, he gives good advice.
I'm in to add this: I'm sorry that you've been diagnosed as hypothyroid. Like you, I'm hypothyroid (severely so, in my case). Here's the good news: Once we're properly medicated for the condition, there's no reason to believe we'll lose weight any more slowly than anyone else does.
Here's a really good thread about hypothyroidism, written by a former MFP-er who is a scientist in the field, himself hypothyroid, who lost weight be calorie counting:

There's a lot of nonsense out in the blogosphere about hypothyroidism and weight management. That thread has solid scientific information.
I lost weight fine (50-some pound in less than a year), and have maintained weight fine for 7+ years since, while hypothyroid (medicated). I've seen other hypothyroid people here say similar. In my case, I even need more calories than MFP estimates, despite hypothyroidism. Hypothyroidism is not weight loss doom.
Best wishes!0
