Third time on MFP!! Excited to be here

Hi there!
My name is Kiersten. I’m 29, and live in NC.
In HS I lost 60 pounds but I was addicted to working out. I gained it all back when I was 19. At 23 I lost 100 pounds and somehow managed to gain it all back over the last 6 years.
I am a certified health coach, but I decided to let my addiction to my partner and our time together eating, get the best of me.
I’m here and ready to lose weight and keep it off because I’m almost 30 and my health is no joke. Please add me if you’d like some motivation or need help. We are all in this together!!!

Height: 6’1
HW: 336
CW: 295
GW: 220 to start

    Hi Kiersten,

Welcome to the community. It sounds like a real roller-coaster you've been riding. You're wise to get off. I'm not sure what a certified health coach means, but I presume you know that in order to achieve long term success you have to build good habits that you can sustain indefinitely. You've got at least one goal - lose 75 pounds. Have you considered mini-goals along the way?

As far as goals, as a health coach you probably know that a good goal has to be measurable. You've got that. It also has to be difficult but achievable. Check on that too. It should also have a deadline. That might be where the mini goals come in. Ten pounds this quarter.

The next step, as you know, is to develop strategies to achieve your goals. What strategies will you use to achieve yours?

Have you checked out the "Most Helpful Posts?" If not, take a little time and do that. It can't hurt.
