We ALL have good rounds and bad but that is part of life. Don’t stay away, stay accountable. We don’t judge, we support.-Jpv,2/13/19

What we need to succeed is a sustainable way of eating, not a DIET we go on and off.

This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE.

We are unstoppable not because we do not have failures but because we continue on despite them. - paraphrase of original quote by Beau Taplin

Up and down - just riding the waves of life. 🌊 🏄‍♀️ (My new mantra-3/19/22)

4/6 137.0 🤷‍♀️ Today I’ll make something from the leftover rotisserie chicken.
4/7 137.0 I forgot about the pool opening party yesterday so the chicken will wait. Today Great Greek. Due to cruise and company, it’s been almost a month! I need a Greek fix!
4/8 136.5 Today I will make the crack chicken casserole I had intended to make on Saturday.

@AR10at50 DH and I were regular blood donors (every 8 weeks) for years when we lived in Colorado. We have donated several times since we moved to Nevada but my doctor told me to stop because at “my age” the recovery takes too long. In Colorado I was 1of 2 donors with my blood type in the county. The hospital would call if they needed B-. Eventually there was a blood bank in Pueblo and we would go every 8 weeks and make a day/evening of it - movie, dinner, groceries. I miss those days. One of the sad things about getting older.😢

In the UK women can only donate once every 4 months, men 3 monthly. I'm luckily that up to now I've not felt tired or had any other ill effects after giving.
