Congratulations on such an awesome first trail run @kgirlhart ! Love the bling and congrats on the 1st place Master's and overall finish! You are amazing!

Thanks and Hahaha @tarun_yadavA ! It's always a disappointment when you are a teenager and plan to stay up late for a special occasion and wind up falling asleep. I remember doing that....I can remember a few things that far back. You did great with the run despite it all.

    Thanks @chris_in_cal, @tarun_yadavA, @daria0919, @martaindale, @teresa502 and @quilteryoyo. I am a bit sore today, so just did a little yoga and rested.

@quilteryoyo Sorry the tennis didn't go your way this time, but it is awesome that you were able to compete.

@teresa502 I bet that mama goose was kind of scary.

    Morning all!
    Got in 6.66M (at 09"49).

@shanaber lovely to see you (+Hobbes!) again

@quilteryoyo great effort on the tennis!
No- it wasn't the 15 year old. It was the nine year old. Which is why my wife was getting pissy at me wanting to stay up till 12:30am/1 ...
And of course, I heard all about it - when he crashed on the couch before Round1 even started!
(Was too tired to run with me on Sunday too! Haha!)

I have just found this challenge after setting myself a rather ambitious one year goal for May 2025: to beat my previous half marathon PB, just over a week before I turn 50. For context I haven't run since 2020 when plantar fascitis put a stop to training so I'm now very cautiosly starting back up by using Couch 2 10k, and my goal for this month is to stay on track with the programme and reach week 5.

    Welcome to this group @josefinejem!

I found this group last fall and it motivated me to start back up after a good 8-9 years of not running. They inspired me to train for a 10K and I followed a training program and succeeded in completing my 10K in April. A 10K is a great starting point.

Stick with this group and be inspired and cheered on! Feel free to post your runs/walks/whatever here and you’ll find loads of support!

Looking forward to getting to know you 😀
