Obese Girl Looking To Get Healthy, Hello!!

I am newish to MFP because I downloaded the app and signed up a long time ago but stopped using it after a year. But here I am back again on MFP starting back up again logging in my food. I have been morbidly obese in the 400s for over 10 years now and I want to become a healthy 200 pounds. I have problems with binge eating on junk food, being a sloth when it comes to walking and strength training, and being consistent with my fat loss plan. I know what I need to do but I procrastinate and slack off lots of the time and all this has lead to me being 468.2 pounds, sedentary and unhealthy. I am starting my fat loss journey because I want to go out into the world and serve the lord and express the holy spirit. Hello fellow MFP members.

    You got this girl. I have a lot of the same issues with trying to get healthy. Maybe we can cheer each other on🎉

    Welcome I'm also obese I've love 4kgs so far which is a start , I eat popcorn instead of chips it's healthier and has fibre, try walking for 5mins than the easier it gets go to 10mins then 15mins , every little bit helps . My knees tell me when to stop . Or home walking app . Drink water and if you have a choc craving I go for dark choc because you can't eat the whole block 🤭 . Chicken is lean protein which I love .it is hard but you will get there .oh get yourself some hand weights 1or 2kg you can do then sitting on a chair . Good luck.

    Hello I'm new to mfp and this is my first time being on my weight loss journey I started towards the end of January I guess I must be doing something right cause I lost 32 lbs so far which feels amazing I dealt with obesity most my life and I know how hard it is to stay away from the unhealthy foods, for me it was more of an addiction so believe me I know the struggle. But I encourage you to stay on your weight loss journey and if you ever need some encouragement I would be more than pleased to show some support cause WE ALL need it sometime. so keep up the good work and try to stay away from the junky stuff. Hopefully my words are somewhat encouraging.
