5/27 206.6 Staying up way too late and had a lot of snacking. Seven weeks until knee replacement surgery so I need to get serious and stay focused.
5/28 205.6 I'm a little skeptical about this number but I will certainly take it. I did a lot of walking yesterday and hope to do it again today. I also did better yesterday with staying reasonably close to my calorie goal. Water was still a little shy of that goal.

5/28 - 149.7 - Two days in the hot hot Texas sun! I'm dehydrated despite my best efforts. We also didn't eat the greatest since it was on the go - purchased pre-made sandwiches/wraps on the lake, chips, nuts/seeds (better but not high protein and low fat like I need for my macros), etc. We did wake up yesterday and go to the gym for leg day before heading out to the lake. We also went kayak fishing Sunday (with plenty of paddling) so I got a lot of movement in. Tonight is enchiladas so hello cheesy bloat! I have my lactose pills ready to go, though. I've pre-logged everything in my Coaching app and I'm all set for the day to hit macros despite the heavy dinner. I'll be glad to balance back out just in time for a 5k Saturday in which we'll be eating out again and Sunday at Fam's for Fam's daughter's birthday (wings, which always leave me bloated). I can make good choices, though! Only 2 more weekends before the beach and I'd rather feel good/comfortable in my skin so I need to sacrifice a bit now

And again we go....totally missed round 260, time and effort (in the kitchen) just got away from me. Here's something else I need to remember.

This is actually a book that I will look into. I am killing the gym part and have gotten stronger. The kitchen... I've been working with a program that gives me 1650 calories... if I go over those 1650 calories, (and I do) I'm pretty much in maintenance or gaining. I need wiggle room because there's aways something. I'm going to do some math and have another "base" goal, leaving wiggle room so that I remain under 1650 no matter what.
But... all or none mentality also... I have lots of "stuff" going on this weekend so I don't expect to follow plan until 5/28.

5/28 222.2 Ha... crazy weekend with birthday celebrations. Now it is time to make a change. I'm going back to IF 16:8 Sun - Mon and 20-4 Fri into Sat (it worked before) and a range of calories from 1250 to 1600. I will plan for 1250 but leave "wiggle" room to 1600 and continue for the next 60 days and see where I land. I will continue my exercise but with a little less intensity than what I have done for the past 6 months. I feel focused.

05/28 -187.2- (Trend weight 186.4) I had the family BBQ on Sunday for the Holiday and then went out-of-town shopping on Monday. Iโm up 2.6 lbs from the weekend which really doesnโt surprise me since itโs been nothing but a food fest. I did not even get to post yesterday until almost 11:00 at night! Back on track today. I am going to try sticking to mainly liquids today with just one meal later tonight. If I donโt eat until about 9:00 I may be able to get by with no snacks even though I stay up pretty late. A day of liquids is not something I normally do but I really want to restrict calories today, just for the day. I would like to get rid of the bloat and as much of the 2.6 as I possibly can. What a morale booster that would be!

Goals for this round; to lose! To be consistent and lose something; to get back into the 130s, should be able to break that 140 barrier now! Strive to have a feeding frenzy free round๐. Good luck everyone for success.Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, itโs taken me 75 rounds to achieve target of 130 = back to maintenance!! But then I crept up again, so need to get back to around 134. A healthy lifestyle must be a permanent way of life.

5/26 DNW - 10.78 miles including lots of 'dancing miles' . All exercise calories plus eaten back. Still trying to make as best choices as possible with the hotel food and only 1 adult beverage per day.
5/27 DNW - 6.53 miles yesterday, again some were 'dancing miles'. I'm afraid it became too difficult to log the hotel food today, I have up! But I don't think I went too mad, tomorrow's scale will tell, and if I'm up then it's back to the grindstone, but the weekend has been amazing, my feet kill me!! three consecutive nights in dance shoes, up dancing all nights plus an Argentine tango workshop & a tea dance this afternoon, but well worth it.
5/28 140.2 โ (trend 140.1) really happy with this minimal gain after all the hotel cooked food and the few adult beverages, back to normal eating now. No structured walking, travelled from the hotel via celebrating youngest DGD 3rd birthday, so yes, I did have birthday cake ๐.

@fmfdfa2020 my husband is wild with the salt shaker as well. He doesnโt necessarily love salt on your level but he uses a lot and it goes EVERYWHERE. He uses a salt shaker like a dramatic cartoon would use a salt shaker.
His argument is โit is proven that salt seasons more evenly from higher upโ

5/26 219.6 Iโm not expecting a 2lb drop to hold, but considering I gained weight at the start of the last round, Iโll take this even if it is just for a day.
5/27 218.2 went most of the day without eating any protein and found myself getting hungry faster. Fortunately we were out most of the day, so snacking wasnโt an option. While I enjoyed what I ate, I definitely understand the benefits of higher protein!
5/28 221.0 given how much I ate yesterday, Iโm surprised this isnโt higher. The day started really well and ended not so great as I found myself feeling hungry a lot and rather than finding something to do or drinking water, I ate. Iโll be back on track today and hopefully see this drop back down quickly.

Part of my entertainment yesterday was watching the neighbor behind get a new roof. There were 15 people up there doing the tear off. Looked like an ant hill. They started by 7:30 am and were all finished by 7:00 pm, including new gutters. Nobody was tied off. I had the cell phone ready to call 911. I didnโt use the binoculars except to check if one of the workers was drinking a beer or a Pepsi. It was Pepsi.

Today: my DH cycling trip was cancelled due to the tornadoes in NW Arkansas. Such devastationโฆ Will figure out the week with him, food prep, groceries & plan an active day/week. Glad he is home & safe.

5/29: very busy work week and will be going to see my DB this weekend; I mentioned that he is very sick, but not with what as he hadn't received confirmation. As of yesterday, it's confirmed that he has pancreatic cancer and, while treatable, he has both heart and lung issues that will make any aggressive treatment more damaging than positive. This last few weeks has been an adjustment and recognition of how precious time really is.
This brother is more than just family, he's been a best friend, mentor and safe haven since my adolescence. 12 years older than me, he took my rebellious teen self under his wing and, since then, has been the person to whom I went for comfort and counsel. He's been the "grandfather" my children didn't have, and his home has been our "family home." He never had children of his own, so me and mine are very much that. I am very sad, and sad for him..
The time coming up will be challenging to all of us. Our mission as a family is to make whatever time we have with him the best we can for him. My sadness is tinged with wonderful memories of the man he is, and the awesome life he's lived.
Quite honestly, my weight doesn't seem important right now, but having a place to say this is really, really good for me. Thank you all for giving me this space to put my feelings into words...

@UTMom81 - Love the pictures!!! We actually go out of Kodiak and sleep on and fish off of a boat. Last year, we saw so many different kinds of whales, right where we were fishing. We mainly fish for halibut but also get lingcod and rock fish. I wish you were going with me (Iโm the only woman this year).
@_JeffreyD_ - My husband loves fishing, just not in the ocean; he gets so sea sick; you could not pay him to go on this trip. When we were first married (in the 90โs) he would send me salmon fishing out of Monterey, CA on a party boat. Often I would come home with (2) 30 lb. salmonโฆ.those were the good old days!
The main reason I go on this trip is because my 86 year old dad goes along with my cousin and they love it. It is something I can do with them. However, it is expensive and you have halibut coming out of your ears
@AR10at50 I am in the same boat with your husband. Give me a quiet lake any day. Hitting a couple lakes with my Brother-in-law tomorrow and Friday. He's coming from out of town. We always talked about this before I retired. Now we can do it. We will spend a lot of time together on "the Kraken."
