Small-but-effective modifications to the workout/exercises aspects in the app

The nutrition aspect in this app is good so far, but the workout/exercises aspect needs 2 main small modifications:

1. We need to be able to add the exercises that we've created into the workout routines. Another tab for exercises inside the workout routines tab to view the added exercises would be sufficient.
2. We need to be able to add an image/gif for an exercise.

Though these small modifications are not altering the app core functions, it would fitness part of the app much more better that no one will need to use a separate app for it.

    I second this.
It would be awesome if MFP (or any other fitness app) could have a way to link to apps like MedBridge Go, or allow a user to add photos of physical therapy exercises and perhaps add a timer or repetition counter for the exercise sessions.

Perhaps as a paid user feature?

To be clear: These would not be shared exercises. They would be user entered and/or linked to a different app

One extra thing: When logging a workout routine write the name of the workout itself instead of just writing "Gym Workout".

And currently, if you deleted a workout routine that you've logged before, the logged workout won't be deleted. So keep it that. Make sure that function doesn't get lost when making any modifications.

These things would be nice. :)

I'd also like to be able to set exercise goals and enter challenges to meet those goals. Like, for example, walking 50 km in a month.

Walking 50 km in a month could just be a personal goal with a ticker to show how we're doing toward that goal.

Or walking 50 km in a month could be a challenge. There could be several different sorts of challenges for different types of exercise, but one might be to walk 50 km in a month. We could enter that challenge and see where we're at, and where others (like our friends) are at too if they've also entered the challenge.

Other challenges might be to cycle 100 km in a month, to workout 20 days in a month, to do at least 15 min of exercise outside in a month, and lots more.

@Betty ... what do you think of all the suggestions in this thread?
