I'm 47 and my low weight on MFP is from after my second kid and my high weight is a few years after my 3rd kid. He is almost 10 so long past baby weight. I'm finishing up chemo for breast cancer before being put on maintenance medication which frequently causes weight gain. I'm not worried about exercise this month but my dietary goal is to have my daily protein around 80g and reduce my chocolate intake.

I'm Chris - 74 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion...
...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
My husband and I are retired.
I see my trainer for 60 mins three days a week and try to walk the other four days. The walking doesn't always work out.

Somewhere between May and now, I dropped from 128 to 124. Losing a kilo (2 pounds) a week is probably too much, too fast (I just went with a round number), but so long as I lose something, I'll be happy. I think that if I stick to counting calories and exercising, I should get there.2 -

I’m back for September with a goal to start weighing and measuring my food! In fact, I measured shredded cheese today vs. weighing grams and they were not the same, a bit surprising. I chose to take the gram weight which gave me a little more cheese but maybe I should use a good ‘ol measuring cup if it’s less.
But, my 2-week cruise is looming…..not the best time to lose weight this month. Therefore, my weight goal for September is to stay at or under my August weight of 148 lbs. Also won’t be weighing in while on vacation.
My overall goal is to get to 143 by New Years 2025!

Happy weekend everyone!
I'm going to start weighing in on both Sundays and Wednesdays but will only report on Wednesdays. The Sundays will give me a midweek check-in to see whether I need to tweak my intake and/or activity to "atone" for any potential lapses in those areas over the weekend.
I won't be posting my stats weekly anymore because they take up too much space; however, I will post before and after stats on New Year's Day to show overall progress.
So far I've been sticking to plan since September 1st. I'm feeling very focused right now.
Tomorrow I'm going to an outdoor Greek festival. I ought to get a lot of steps in with all the line dancing! We shall see...

09/01- I got my grocery shopping done out of town and eliminated some of the “approved” snacks that were just too tempting. Will there be more eliminated later? Maybe, but it’s a start. I hate how much harder it is to breathe and also maneuver steps into the house with the grocery bags when these extra pounds are on. Incentive! I will likely post a weight tomorrow. Good luck this month my friends. This will be a very challenging month for me with lots of travel including some overnights. I’ll be giving it all I’ve got!
09/08-189.6-(Trend Weight: 190.9)- Down a tad from the start. I did some day travel yesterday (restaurants and sitting) and I have a two day trip beginning tomorrow for some important medical stuff so I don’t anticipate that this will be my best week. Tomorrow's trip comes but once a year. Thankfully, what goes up must come down so I will try hard to watch my p’s & q’s while I’m away and will work very hard when I get home to get back to routine. I’m from a very very tiny farming town so I must admit that I’m looking very forward to the city and all of its restaurant offerings. Not the best feeling to have when I’m trying to lose this spare tire but nothing I can't tackle later and overcome! Happy Sunday everyone!
