Introducing myself

Hi, I'm not new to myfitnesspal. My name is Monica. I was a member in 2015 when I weighed 193 lbs. I would love to weigh that again! I'm 223 lbs. today. I'm 63 years old and I'd like to lose this weight as I enter into my later years. I just retired from a 40 year career in nursing. Did I mention I'm only 5 feet tall! I've seen, firsthand, the damage weight gain can do to a body. I know diabetes, hypertension, and a myriad of other co-morbidities await if I don't do something. I actually started the macro diet and counting cals on Sept 7th - I weighed 227 lbs then so I have lost 4 lbs. Baby steps, right?
I'm looking to share my journey; give little support, get a little support and to relearn how to eat healthy.
