One of the craziest things about dieting and logging food

It can actually be hard to hit your target calories if you are also Intermittent fasting. When you are just living your life and eating whatever whenever you might eat 6000 calories in a day and not realize it.
When you sit here logging everything you eat you realize how hard it is to hit 1800-2200 calories eating healthy options. Things like fruit and veggies have very low calories. When you cook with spray and lean mean you end up with meals are 300 calories instead of 700 to 2000 eating out.

I find it really difficult to eat 6000 calories a day.

When I was heavily into ultra-distance cycling, during the season, I needed to eat at least 5000 calories a day at least 2 or 3 days a week to have any hope of maintaining my weight. It was so difficult, and I usually ended up dropping 20 or 30 lbs each summer.

I would just get sick of eating. Thing is, I really like veggies and fruit, so I'd have to hunt for higher calorie foods or eat all the time.

I was kind of just troughing out a number but, lets say i drank 10 IPA's and ate half a pep. pizza. 2500 plus 1200 3700 from one sitting. I think on average i was probably driving home about 3800 calories a day based on where my weight settled in for the last 5 years though. eventually i'd have peeked 400 if I handn't changed habbits, but I have no doubt that I had 6000 caloric days. Alch. is in my past so those days are done for me. pretty sure that people that need the calories carb load with rice/potatoes/noodles. Still though I can see it being really hard to get that many calories in any kind of healthy fashion.
